Welcome! In front of me I have Fitbit Charge 6 and I'm gonna show you how to
0:04
enable the phone notifications for this smartband on the iPhone. Basically if you
0:09
want to receive the notifications from your iPhone on your smartband. Before we start if you want to receive the notifications from your smartband or
0:19
rather from your iPhone on your smartband your band needs to be paired with your iPhone via the Fitbit application and once the devices are
0:27
paired together we can continue. And now we need to make sure that the required
0:31
permissions are allowed for the Fitbit application and your iPhone to send the
0:35
notifications to your smartband. So let's open the settings on the iPhone, find the
0:41
Bluetooth option and tap on it and here you will see list of my devices and on
0:46
it you will see Charge 6. Tap on the info icon next to it. Here you should see the
0:51
option called share system notifications. If you see it make sure it's enabled. If you don't see it open the Fitbit application. Then in the
1:03
Fitbit application you should see the today page then tap on the icon in top
1:08
left corner. Select your Charge 6. Here tap on notifications and disable and
1:15
enable notifications. Basically turn them off and then turn them back on and you
1:20
should see the pop-up about the permissions after a couple of seconds
1:23
Once you see the pop-up tap on allow to allow it and then you can close the app
1:28
go back to settings and you should see this option right here. Make sure it's
1:31
enabled. Then go back to the main page of settings, scroll down, find the Fitbit
1:36
application on the list and here make sure that the Bluetooth is enabled. If
1:42
it is close the settings and reopen the Fitbit application. Tap on the icon in
1:48
top left corner, select your Charge 6, tap on notifications and again enable
1:54
the notifications you like. We have different types of notifications. We have calls, text messages, calendar events and you can enable them or disable them by
2:02
tapping on the switch. You can also tap on app notifications and here you can
2:07
enable and disable notifications for the applications. For me this list is empty
2:12
because I installed the Fitbit application just a couple minutes ago but if you install the Fitbit application and after you install it
2:21
receive notifications from the different apps this list will fill in basically. So
2:26
first you need to receive the notification from the app for it to appear on this list and once it does you can enable and disable notifications for
2:33
them right here. We can try actually filling in this list. So let's try. I'm gonna send myself a message on
2:45
Discord. As you can see we got the notification on our iPhone. Now we're
2:55
gonna open the Fitbit application and refresh it. Sometimes it takes quite a
3:00
while for it to fill in, to catch on that you got the notification from the app so
3:05
it might take some time for it to appear right here on the list. As you can see it
3:10
didn't appear right now so I don't know how long it will take for it to appear
3:15
but if the app appears right here you will see the name of the app and next to
3:20
it will be the switch and you can enable and disable the notifications for it by
3:24
tapping on the switch. And once you enable the notifications they will appear on your smartband right here. Okay and that's how you enable and how
3:33
you disable the notifications for this smartband on the iPhone. Thank you for
