Welcome! In front of me I have Garmin VivoSmart 5 and I'm gonna show you how
0:05
to measure the blood oxygen levels on this device. Before we start a quick disclaimer. If you want to get the most accurate
0:15
results of your measurements make sure to put your smartwatch or smartband
0:19
rather on your wrist, secure it tightly so it doesn't move around and while
0:23
you're measuring your blood oxygen levels try not to move too much. I'm just
0:27
gonna put my finger on the sensor right here at the back of the device but
0:31
because of that my results might be not too accurate. Now let's continue with the
0:36
measurement. So first you will need to wake up the screen on your smartband and
0:41
you can do it by tapping on the screen or by pressing the button. Once you wake
0:46
up the screen you should see the current watch face, the home screen. Now swipe up
0:51
on the screen to open the list of widgets. Now scroll through the list of
0:55
widgets and find the one called pulse ox, pulse oximeter. Tap on it to enter
1:01
and here we have the previous result but to measure the blood oxygen levels
1:11
simply tap on this previous result here. This will open this graph. Once the
1:18
graph opens swipe left on the screen and the band will start measuring your blood
1:23
oxygen levels automatically. Now I placed my finger on the sensor and let's
1:28
wait for the results. And here we have our result. You can also check your
1:38
progress from the last four hours by tapping on the current result and here
1:44
you have the graph of the whole four hours. Again you can measure it again if
1:48
you want to and also you can swipe up and down in the pulse oximeter widget to
1:56
check more info like BRPM, also sleep data but you need to wear your
2:04
band for a couple days basically to get more data about the sleep. Okay you can
2:11
also enable and disable the automatic blood oxygen levels measurement. To do it
2:17
press the home button to open the menu then scroll through the menu find the
2:22
settings icon tap on it and settings find the option called wrist heart rate
2:28
basically. Tap on it. Here you scroll down find the option called pulse ox and tap
2:36
on it and here we have two options during sleep and all day. If you select
2:42
during sleep it's gonna measure your blood oxygen levels during your sleep
2:48
and if you select all day it's gonna do it whole day basically when you're not
2:53
moving around. When you're resting it's gonna measure your blood oxygen levels
2:58
So select the option you like and then tap on the checkmark to confirm. Remember
3:02
though if you select during sleep or all day it will reduce the battery life on
3:07
your device quite severely. Okay and once you're done you can press home button
3:12
couple of times to go back to watch face and that's how you measure the
3:16
blood oxygen levels on this device. Thank you for watching. If you found this video
