Welcome. In front of me is a ZTE Blade A72s and today I'll show you how we can hard reset this phone through settings

To get started you'll need to open up your settings. In here, scroll all the way down to System and Update and then select Reset Options

Select Erase All Data, Factory Reset, which will bring up an information letting us know that this process removes everything that is listed right over here

Now the important things that will be removed are things like music, photos and user data, which usually or typically are kept locally on the device

So this is the data that you would put on the device yourself. If you keep your photos, for example, on the cloud, then you don't need to worry, it will stay on the cloud

And also if you're using things like Spotify to listen to your music, that also doesn't really concern you

This is going for everyone who is keeping MP3 files on the storage of the device, for example

Or obviously the images themselves in the storage. So if you do and you want to preserve them, make a copy of it before you begin this process

Otherwise this will remove all the data and obviously you will lose the photos, music, and you won't have any way to actually get it back

Now assuming you have already made a backup or you simply don't want to, you can click right here, Erase All Data

If you have some kind of screen lock, you will need to confirm it. It confirms that this will remove all the data, so be fully aware of it

And we can select Erase All Data once again to begin the factory reset process

Which will take approximately 2 to 3 minutes or so, give or take a minute, to finish up

Once it's completed, it will then be presented with Android Setup Screen. So I'll be back once that is visible for me
