Welcome! In front of me I have Fitbit Versa 4 and I'm gonna show you how to enable and how to disable the Alexa voice assistant on this watch
0:15
Before we start, if you want to enable or disable the Alexa voice assistant on this watch, your watch needs to be paired with your phone via the Fitbit application
0:26
Once the devices are paired together, we can continue. Okay, so let's open the Fitbit application on the phone that is paired with our watch
0:38
Once the application opens, you should see the Today page. Now, tap on the profile icon to open the account page. On this page find your Versa 4 on the list of devices and tap on it to select it
0:50
Now, tap on the Amazon Alexa icon and here tap on Sign in with Amazon
0:58
It will redirect you to the login page and basically what we need to do is to log in into an Amazon account and authorize the Fitbit application to use the Amazon Alexa
1:09
So tap on Get Started, tap on Continue Setup, log in into an Amazon account
1:22
Okay, after you log in, you will see this page. Tap on the Allow button to allow the access for the Alexa voice assistant
1:31
And you can also enable the location permissions. So basically the Alexa will know your location and it will allow it to give better responses basically
1:43
You can tap on Use Location or Not Now, depending on what you want. I'm going to tap on Use Location
1:48
Okay, and right here we can also allow the Alexa to access some data like heart rate, profile weight and stuff like that
2:03
You can basically check the things you want to allow, if you want to allow anything basically
2:10
If you don't want to allow anything, you can tap on the No button right here. Okay, so once you're done customizing this, you can either tap on Allow or Deny
2:22
And then tap on Continue. Tap on Close. And at this point the Amazon Alexa should be enabled
2:29
So when we go to our watch, we tap the screen on it by pressing the side button. Then press and hold the side button to open this menu
2:37
Here we can select the voice assistant. Tap on Got It. And now we can use the voice assistant by pressing and holding the side button
2:47
Tell me a joke. How many nannies does it take to change a light bulb
2:56
None. Light bulbs don't wear diapers. And here we have it. Once you're done, you can press the side button to go back to the watch face
3:06
Like this. Okay, so that's how you enable the Amazon Alexa. If you want to disable it, open the app
3:16
Go to the profile page. Tap on the Versa 4. Tap on Amazon Alexa. And then tap on Logout right here
3:24
To logout and basically turn off the Alexa. I forgot to mention, you can also change the language you want to use with the Alexa
3:35
You can basically enter this page. Tap on the here and you can select the language you would like to use
3:42
For example, United Kingdom. And if you change it, it should basically change
3:49
Tell me a joke. How do you count cows? As you can see, it worked
4:01
Okay, so I'm going to tap on Logout to disconnect the Alexa
4:07
And now when you try to use it, it will tell you to set it up
4:15
Okay, so that's how you enable and how you disable the Amazon Alexa on this watch
4:22
