So to get started, all you need to do is pull down your notifications, Extend the list and you will find this power button at the bottom. Press on it and then hold power off

This will bring up a window with a message. Do you want to reboot into safe mode

This will disable all third-party applications that you have installed and they will be restored when you reboot again

So let's confirm by tapping on OK and once the device boots back up, it will be then in the safe mode

Now I'll mention that in safe mode only the pre-installed applications will work. That's kind of what the message implies and

this mode is designed more for troubleshooting your phone. So if you have some kind of problems with the software maybe then you can boot it into this mode and hopefully solve your problem

In terms of hardware, so if your screen doesn't work or something like that, this doesn't give you anything

And as you can see now the device is back on. We have this safe mode marking at the bottom and

there's a bunch of applications that won't work. As you can see, they are all greyed out and if you try to open them up

That is how you boot into it. And once you're done with this mode and you want to go back to normal mode

then get back to the power options right here and simply select restart. Once the device boots back up again
