Welcome! In front of me is a Xiaomi Redmi 10A and today I'll show you how you can
0:05
enable your power saving mode. So to get started let's pull down our toggles which are located on the top
0:15
right side, so right over here. This will give you your toggles like I mentioned
0:20
You can extend the list and you will most likely find your battery saver in
0:24
the same exact location hopefully. I haven't changed the locations of them so
0:29
I assume you can find yours in the same place. But anyway once you see this toggle
0:33
simply tap on it. As you can see it turns to a different color than what
0:38
everything else is when it's turned on. So you have this kind of like orangeish yellowish color. Also the same goes for your battery. It has the same filling now
0:47
to signify that you are right now running in a power saving mode. Now the
0:51
reason you might want to be aware of this is because when power saving mode
0:56
is enabled the device will turn off mobile data and Wi-Fi when it's not
1:01
being used. So when you lock the device like this and just leave it on a table
1:05
for extended period of time it just flat-out disconnects to preserve battery
1:10
And because of that you won't be receiving any kind of notifications that
1:13
would require internet connection. That'd be things like Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and so on. But when you wake up the device like I just did right now it
1:21
should automatically reconnect and then sync up everything that was missing. So
1:27
that's one of the things. And number two sometimes it lowers down the brightness and that's probably all them worth mentioning things. Now if you're planning
1:35
to preserve your battery a little bit better than the Wimpy power saving mode
1:39
what you could do if that is an option for you that would work right now is
1:44
lower the brightness. It's kind of why I said an option that works for you right
1:49
now. Because obviously if you go outside having your brightness set to something
1:53
for instance like this would mean that you just cannot see the display
1:57
whatsoever. So that would make this not a very viable change. But inside if you're
2:05
not really needing that super bright display you can lower it and just
2:11
dropping it from like max to halfway you will get additional like several hours
2:16
of battery life. Now I'm not exactly sure how many hours it really would depend
2:21
how much you use a device and so on. But you will get a noticeable difference in
2:28
battery life on with specifically screen on time. So anyway now once you're done
2:36
with the power saving mode you can just turn it off by tapping on it like this
2:40
and when it comes on to brightness which I mentioned before all you do is just swipe it back yourself. And it does also automatically adjust it for the most
2:49
part so if you for instance go outside it should brighten it up itself because
2:54
this is always checked on by default. So if your environment gets super bright it
3:01
will brighten up the display ignoring your choices here. So anyway if you

found this very helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
