Welcome

Enthonymy is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this device
0:15
So we're going to start off with the simple dark mode, easily accessible, I believe in the notification panel
0:20
There it is dark mode. So simply select it from here and as can see it turns the entire system dark mode
0:27
That will also include things like setting, and basically all the default apps
0:32
If I open dialer, notes, and stuff like that, everything will be in dark mode
0:37
You get the point. Now, moving on to the next one, it's going to be the gesture navigation
0:43
So this will remove the buttons that are right here, at 3, the home, back, and resent
0:48
and stops us to them for actual gestures. So let's open up settings
0:54
I'm going to turn off dark mode for the video. It looks better in light, in my opinion. So in the settings you want to navigate into the display section right here where you also find a dark mode if you're interested
1:06
And from here we're looking for navigation bar. So right over here
1:14
And you will have the swipe gestures right over here. So simply select it
1:18
Give it a second and there we go. As you can see, you have this little bar at the bottom
1:23
And the way this works is you swipe up to go home, swipe up and hold to go to reset
1:27
and swipe from the side. As you can see, it brings up this arrow to go back
1:32
And this, I'm using a small pencil or pen, however you want to call this
1:36
but you can also do this with just your fingers. So, that's really nice
1:43
I really like the gestures, actually. But yeah, anyway, moving on to the next one
1:48
it's going to be the, I was going to say, swipe down for notification panel
1:52
but it looks like it now coming enabled by default So well done Samsung finally did it Only took you like several years So yeah if you don have this it will enable by default
2:06
so you can swipe up, swipe down from anywhere on the screen, because normally you would have to go
2:10
straight from the top to bring down the notifications. If you want to quickly change it to have
2:17
it like back as it was before maybe, or if you don't have it enabled by default to enable this
2:22
I can find this in the, where is it, home screen. And let's swipe down
2:32
Where is it? Oh, there we go. Swive down for a notification panel
2:36
So just simply enable this and you should be golden. Now, next thing that I'm going to show is something that probably not very many people know what it exists
2:44
because it is quite hidden. Android wouldn't probably want you to know easily where it is
2:49
and most certainly they would not include that in the notifications. by default, but it's the option called sensor resolve
2:56
So this basically allows you to turn off device sensors, things like camera, microphones, stuff
3:02
like that. So if you don't want those to be enabled all the time for privacy reasons, you can simply
3:08
open up settings, scroll all the way down to the About tablet, then select software information
3:14
and find build number. Hello? Camera? There we go. Camera. Please, camera
3:21
There we go. number and top on that seven times as you can see it will then bring up this message
3:26
right here that developer mode has been enabled so we can go back back once more
3:32
and you should be able to scroll down a little bit lower now and developer options
3:37
should be the last option in the settings page so open that up scroll down and you
3:43
should see this part right here as you can see this is like right at the beginning
3:47
almost quick settings developer tiles and in here we'll have this option called Sensors Off Now before I enable it I pull down notification panel just so you can look at this You can see the first option that I have right now is the Wi right here
4:03
proceeding with the mute option, Bluetooth and so on. So you can see that. And once I
4:09
enable the sensors off, this will take place as the first toggle. So it's right here. Now before
4:17
I go any further and actually enable it to show you this I'm going to open up camera. So you can
4:23
clearly see that the camera is working. This is well my fingers right here. So while I'm
4:30
trying to hold this up, I'm going to try to turn it on. And bam, as you can see, security
4:38
policy prevents use of camera. And this basically closed out the camera because it kind of crashed
4:44
There is no camera in the eyes of the tablet. And if you try to open it up, as can see, it just
4:50
won't open. Now this will always be. include things like microphone which will be disabled so if you're planning to
4:57
take calls on your tablet make sure you you disable the sensors off and
5:02
before you start your conversation otherwise well people won't be able to
5:06
hear you so there we go I'm gonna disable it and moving on to the next option
5:13
which is really nice here it's gonna be a text I think that's how that's how
5:19
you pronounce it but might be completely wrong and completely but you can see right here, DEX
5:25
Now normally this is basically accessible on every Samsung device, but for this to work, you do need to have a monitor to be plugged into
5:33
So you basically use a Type C port and convert that to either HTML
5:38
or if you have a USBC compatible monitor, you plug it directly through C2C
5:44
But on the tablet side, we do have this toggle, which will allow us to just straight up turn it on
5:49
without any external monitor. As you can see, I'm not plugged in. This is where the USB is So right here it will give you this almost a desktop
6:02
E. That was really hard to pronounce for some reason. Feel, which, as you can see, kind of resembles like any Windows or Apple
6:11
basically a computer kind of thing, where you will have all the open applications at the bottom
6:17
and the status bar applications right here on the home screen that you can basically open up
6:23
And every application that you open up will open in a window, which you can maximize if you
6:28
want to take the entire screen. You can minimize it if you want to or minimize it like this, go back to it
6:36
So it acts basically like a computer in a way. With a couple different caveats
6:42
So for instance you still have the notification panel when you tap on the battery presented
6:46
in Wi-Fi. You have also time right here. and a couple different shortcuts, and all the applications right here, if you're looking for them
6:57
So, fairly nice option right here, and also you can plug in still a monitor and use this entirely on the monitor
7:03
and use the tablet, for instance, as a touchpad. So you could have a cast basically how this looks like
7:09
onto a monitor and have this entire surface as a touchpad, and when you interact or tap on the option
7:16
that has some kind of typing option, it will bring up a keyboard also. So you can, you can, you see
7:21
have just a tablet to use as a computer. Now once you're ready to leave this, let's
7:27
stop right here and top on the decks again and this will close it off. Now that
7:37
being said, this will conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I wanted to share and if
