Welcome. In front of me is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus
0:04
and today I will show you how you can enable and set up your Do Not Disturb mode
0:13
So to get started we're going to pull down our notifications by swiping down from the top of the screen like so. You want to swipe down once again to extend the list of toggles
0:21
Now on one of the pages we should have our Do Not Disturb mode. Now if you don't see it on
0:25
the first one you can swipe to the left and this will show you multiple other pages. Now for me Do
0:30
Not Disturb mode is located right here at the bottom on the second page. Once you see it
0:34
if you're doing this the first time around and you want to set it up, you want to hold it. This
0:38
will then take you to the settings and here you can customize it. Now I'm only going to touch upon
0:42
the couple settings in here that I find more important over the other ones. So number one
0:47
we have for how long. This allows you to choose what will happen when you tap on the actual toggle
0:53
I personally like to set it up for a specific timer and make it like four hours
0:57
So when I'm using this device at work or whatever and I'm gonna need it to be you know silent
1:02
I'll just enable this and then almost likely forget about it. Therefore the four hour timer
1:07
after four hours will turn it off for me so I don't actually need to remember about it. You also
1:12
have the option to ask you every time about this. So it will bring up these two options right here
1:18
every time you tap on the toggle manually. Now moving to the next option, it's the schedule
1:25
There is always one pre-made, usually sleeping, at least that's how it's called, and it starts at
1:30
10 p.m. and ends at 7 a.m. every day. If you want to use a schedule you just toggle it on in here
1:36
and obviously you can create new ones by tapping here and selecting days of the week that you
1:40
wanted to turn on during and also start and end time along with naming it whatever you want
1:45
When you set up your own schedule mode it will automatically become enabled, meaning
1:53
right over here. Now automatically enabled doesn't actually mean that the Do Not Disturb mode will
1:58
turn on right away because for instance right now this is enabled and Do Not Disturb mode is not
2:03
on as you can see because it's not 10 p.m. yet. And then scrolling down we have calls
2:10
messages. This allows you to select who can call you or message you and calls have additional
2:15
options for the repeated callers. So if someone calls you twice within a 15 minute period they
2:20
will be bypassing whatever you have selected right here. So by default it's set to none so no one
2:25
should be able to call you but if you see with this enabled they meet that requirement they
2:29
will just completely ignore this section. And that's about it. Now you can go over all the
2:39
other options in here and customize them to be tailored specifically to you but I just wanted
2:44
to point out the couple ones that I find more important over the other ones. So once this is
2:49
all set we can close this, find the toggle once again and at the same run we can just simply tap
2:55
let's try that again tap on it like so and our mode is now enabled at least for four hours based
3:01
on the settings that I have chosen. So once I'm done with it I can also turn it off manually so
3:08
I don't need to wait for that four hour to run out I can just tap on it and there we go it's now
3:14
turned off again. So there we go. Now the app can enable it and disable it and obviously if you're
3:19
using schedule just make sure that the schedule is toggled on in the settings and you don't need
3:22
to do anything else. So with that being said if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit
