Welcome, everyone on me is a Huawei P50 Pro and today I will show you how you can enable
0:12
and also set up the Do Not Disturb mode. So to get started, all you need to do is pull down your notification panel, expand it, we
0:20
don't even need to expand it, and in here we should locate our Do Not Disturb toggle
0:26
which should be somewhere here. Oh, there we go. For some reason it took me a little bit too long to find it
0:31
So once you find it, for me it is in the bottom left corner and I believe this is the default
0:38
location of the toggle so for you it should be relatively the same place
0:43
So once you find it, before you actually tap on it to enable it, you can hold it and this
0:47
will take you to the settings and in here you can customize how it will function
0:51
So let's jump straight to the interruptions because those will be the most important options
0:56
right here. So we have calls, interruptions for calls, and you can select who can call us basically
1:01
while the Do Not Disturb mode is enabled. So we have everyone, contacts only, favorites, or no one
1:09
By default it is set to favorites so if that is something that you don't want, you can
1:13
obviously change it. Then we have messages, again, same options as calls
1:18
Select who can message you. And then last thing we have is repeated callers
1:23
So if someone calls us twice within a 15 minute period, they will basically completely
1:29
bypass the Do Not Disturb mode. So even though it is active, they will call you without any kind of problem
1:35
And this option might seem kind of redundant at first glance but it is fairly useful for
1:41
emergency situations. So when someone really needs to get a hold of you, you probably already experienced this
1:47
they usually spam call you. They will call you once, you don't pick up, and they call you immediately afterwards
1:53
And they will then fulfill this margin right here and basically, in a way, turn off the
1:58
Do Not Disturb mode for themselves so they can reach you and you would be aware that
2:03
they are trying to reach you. And last thing we have here is a schedule, a little bit higher right here
2:11
And this simply allows you to set up a schedule so that the Do Not Disturb mode turns on and
2:14
off automatically on a given day of the week and time. So you wouldn't need to toggle it on and off from the notifications right here, you
2:23
just need to make sure that this is enabled, which for some reason it is enabled right
2:27
now, making me think that someone already changed it here. By default, it would be obviously turned off
2:36
So you can add your own schedule if you want to. So you just repeat, select each day of the week that you want it to work in, and also
2:45
start time and end time. And check it and it will be automatically enabled, as you can see
2:52
And once you have it enabled here, you don't need to do anything extra, it will just, whenever
2:57
it needs to, it will turn on. Now for the manual use, all you need to do is find the toggle, tap on it, select enable
3:06
and there you go. It is now enabled, which you can see right up here
3:10
And once you're done with it, to turn it off, again, pull down your notification, tap on
3:14
it, and it will turn off. So there we go. That is how you set up and also enable slash disable this Do Not Disturb mode
3:24
