Welcome! In front of me is a Samsung Galaxy A14 and today I'll show you how you can enable and
0:05
set up your Do Not Disturb mode. Now to get started, simply pull down your notifications
0:13
straight from the top, with a double swipe down, and one of the toggles should be Do Not Disturb
0:19
mode. If you don't see it on the first page, hopefully it's on the second one, which that's
0:24
where it is for me. Once you see this toggle you can hold it. This will take you to the settings
0:28
where you can customize how it will function. So quickly going into a couple of the options that I
0:34
just consider a little bit more important over some of the other ones in here. We have For How
0:40
Long, which defines what happens when you press on the button. If you tend to forget about things
0:45
that are turned on in your device, don't pay attention too much to it. I recommend selecting
0:50
a timer here, so for instance one hour, but you can make it a little bit longer, maybe four hours
0:54
depending on what you think you will need. And when you forget about it, after four hours it
0:58
will turn off automatically anyway. Now moving down there, we have Calls and Messages. It allows
1:04
you to select who can call you and message you. And actually going back here, we also have the
1:12
Repeated Callers, so if someone calls you twice within a 15 minute period, it will actually bypass
1:16
whatever you will select for calls. Now going back, we have also Notifications, you can select
1:22
what apps will kind of be able to bypass this mode and give you notifications
1:27
alarms, and just general options. So once you have selected your settings right here
1:33
you can close this and you don't have to ever come back here again, and just toggle it on whenever
1:37
you need it. Now, before I close this off, I'm going to just add one more thing, we also have
1:42
a schedule right here. So you can create one or you can use the one that is existing right here
1:47
by default. So this will then make it so your Do Not Disturb mode turns on and off automatically
1:54
based on the provided parameters of it. And you can create a new one. Now if you're planning to
1:59
use a schedule mode, just make sure that you toggle that on in here, and you don't need to
2:05
do anything extra. But for everybody else who wants to use it manually from time to time
2:10
find the toggle, tap on it, and you're good to go. And like I said, once you're done with it
2:20
you can tap on it again to turn it off. Now with this being said, if you found this
2:24
very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
