Welcome, Enfenom is a Nokia 8.1 and today I will show you how to perform hard reset
0:11
in order to remove screen lag. So as you can see, right now I have a screen lag here
0:20
So assuming we don't know the passcode to it, we can perform a hard reset and begin
0:27
by powering up the phone. So hold the power key and select power off
0:34
While this is turning off, make sure you have some kind of cable that came with your device
0:38
so it's a USB type C for me, for this specific phone, and plug it into a charger or a computer
0:46
And once you have that ready, you can plug it into the phone as well. So I'm just gonna do that
0:55
Give it a moment, you will see a little Android One logo and then it should show you that
0:59
it's charging. And once you see that, we can hold power key and volume up together
1:06
So let's just give it a moment. And now that you see the battery and charging indicator, you can hold power key, volume
1:15
and volume up. So let's do that. Once it vibrates, you can let go of the keys
1:29
And then we will see a little Android with no command. And once that is visible, we're gonna hold power key and tap volume up once
1:37
So hold power key, volume up once, and you can let go
1:42
So I'm just gonna unplug it now and put it back straight so you can see better
1:49
And from here, you will want to use volume keys to navigate, so volume up to go up and
1:55
volume down to go down, and power key to confirm whatever you select
1:59
And with that in mind, we're gonna select wipe data factory reset, so right here
2:05
And then confirm it with power key. Once more, confirm it by selecting yes and continue
2:17
And we'll get a little message wiping data. Data wipe complete, as you can see on the bottom right here
2:23
So once this is finished, you can just select reboot system now, which should be selected
2:27
actually by default, and just tap on power key to confirm it
2:38
And now the phone will reboot and it will continue to do the hard reset in the background
2:42
while it's turning back on. So it might take a little bit longer than normally
2:48
And while this is going, I'll be actually back once Android setup screen is visible
3:15
And as you can see now, the process has been finished and you can set up your device as
3:20
you like. Now, mind you that if the phone was logged into some kind of Google account, you will
3:25
need to verify it later on. And if you don't remember the password to it, you can always either use a pattern or
3:33
also check out our other guides on how to bypass it. So that'll basically finish up the hard reset
