Welcome, in front of me is a T-Mobile T-Phone 6 Pro and today I'll show you how we can enable and set up your portable hotspot

So to get started let's pull down our notifications, extend the list and in here you'll find the toggle for it. So for me it's

Somewhere, oh there we go, on a third page You can see it looks like this. Once you find the toggle, the first time around you want to hold it

This will quickly take you to the settings and in here select Wi-Fi hotspot and then choose Wi-Fi or hotspot password

Now it looks like I have already changed it before But usually you will experience

See that the password that is randomly generated by the phone is something atrocious

Just complete the random mess of letters and numbers So I recommend removing that password and setting up your own. It does need to have at least eight characters in length

That's kind of why mine is so nice and From there click on OK, and that's basically all I would recommend changing

You can also change things like the hotspot name. By default it's going to be the name of the phone itself

And under advanced you have a couple additional options, but if you don't know what they do, I don't recommend changing them

If you change them it might result in your hotspot not functioning for instance with all the devices if we would change the AP band

So that's what I'm saying keep it as it is if you're not sure what the settings do

This will ensure that your hotspot will work with virtually every device

From there we can close this and whenever you want to utilize your hotspot simply find the toggle tap on it

And it's now running and you can connect to it Once you're done with it
