Welcome! In front of me I have Garmin VivoSmart 5 and I'm gonna show you how to edit the controls menu on this smart man

First let me show you how to access the controls menu on this smart man

So let's wake up the screen by pressing the home button and once you wake up the screen you should see the home screen, the current watch face

And on it you can swipe right on the screen to open the controls menu

And here we have it. And as you can see by default we have two icons and we can edit this menu

To do it let's open the settings on our smart man. So let's press the home button to open the menu, scroll through the menu, find the settings icon and tap on it

Now scroll through the menu, find the option called the system and select it

And here scroll through the menu, find the option called controls menu

Tap on it and right here we can edit the menu. We can remove the icons or add the icons to the menu

To remove them simply tap on the icon that has the X button on it

And come on, like this. The icon will disappear and it will be replaced with the plus button

This means you can add different icon or the same icon if you want to

So to add the icon simply tap on the plus button and here you have the list of shortcuts or functions you can add to the controls menu

For example let's add timer. And let's remove the do not disturb and add something else like assistance
