your SIM card to the device. So to get started you want to open up your standalone contacts

application like this one. Navigate to Fix & Manage. Now before I do so I am going to quickly

point out that right now you're seeing contacts that are being pulled from my Google account

which you can see right over here. You can also display contacts that are located on the SIM card

Let's go back to this one. But anyway to get started let's select Fix & Manage and then

Manage SIM. This will in turn display all the contacts that are located on my SIM card

By default the device will try to import these contacts to your Google account. If there is one

signed in, if there isn't one then it's going to default to the device. Now if you have multiple

Google accounts you can choose them from the drop-down as well as choosing the device as an

option as well. So select where you want to import contacts to. If said location that you have

selected already contains some of the contacts that you're trying to import, these contacts will

become deselected and grayed out so you won't import them twice. Or so you won't have duplicate

contacts basically. In any case you can then select Import. It asks us the stupidest question

if we want to keep or remove these contacts from our SIM. I recommend keeping them as they don't

get in your way and it's just nice to have like a safety net if something would happen to your

phone. You can just take out the SIM card pop it into another device and off you go you have all your contacts. So I recommend keeping them. Now once the contacts

have been imported which you can see right here you can go back to your list and you can see them

right over here. And again depending on where you import your contacts you might

need to select it from the list right here. But mine are visible in the Google account
