Welcome, Infinomi is a Oppo A17 and today I will show you how you can enable and
0:06
set up your portable hotspot. Now to get started let's pull down our notifications
0:16
extend the list and somewhere in here you'll find a hotspot toggle. For me it
0:20
is right here in a corner and this is the default location of the toggles so
0:25
hopefully you can find yours in the same exact place. Once you do, first time
0:29
around you want to hold it. This will quickly take you to the settings where you can then select Wi-Fi hotspot and start off by changing things like the
0:36
hotspot password. By default it is just randomly generated mess as you can see
0:40
right over here. Not very easy to type in and obviously almost impossible to
0:45
remember so what I recommend doing is removing this one and setting up your
0:48
own. New password does need to have at least 8 characters in length, that can be
0:53
letters or numbers it does not matter. I'm gonna be using just numbers. 8
0:59
characters in length, there we go. Okay and that's really all you need to
1:03
change or what I would really recommend changing. There are obviously other
1:07
settings that you can fiddle around with them if you know what they do. If you don't I would recommend keeping everything as it is. This will then
1:14
ensure that it can connect to your hotspot almost at any given moment without much of a hassle no matter what your device is capable of like
1:21
supporting. So from here once you set it up you can close this, find the toggle once
1:27
more, simply tap on it and there you go. Hotspot is now enabled and once you're
1:32
done with it you can turn it off by tapping on it once more. Now quickly I'm
1:36
gonna check one more thing in here. We do have this option right here turn off
1:41
hotspot automatically. I do recommend keeping this enabled. This will ensure that your phone will turn off the hotspot for you if you forget about it
1:50
and the reason I recommend keeping this on even though it might kind of you know
1:54
turn it off sometimes even though you might be using it, though that probably
1:58
wouldn't really happen, is because hotspot consumes more of your battery life and when enabled obviously if you're not using it it will just
2:09
continuously try to run and allow people to connect to it or just search for
2:14
people to connect to. So it's gonna drain your battery significantly quicker and
2:19
obviously if you're not using it it's better to turn it off and if you forget about it the setting there would do it for you after like I don't know five or
2:26
ten minutes of inactivity. Inactivity meaning ten minutes or so where the
2:32
hotspot detects no one is using any kind of data on it. So there we go. So if you
