Welcome, Efronom is a Redmi Note 10 Pro and today I'll show you how to enable and set
0:12
up the Do Not Disturb mode. And to get started you'll want to find a toggle somewhere in your notifications for the Do
0:18
Not Disturb, which for me is right over here. As you can see it's called DND right here, just a short version of it
0:24
So once you find it, hold the toggle and this will redirect you to, well, almost the settings
0:28
of it. So from here scroll down and you should see the Do Not Disturb mode
0:34
As you can see it's off right now so simply tap on the text and this will take you to
0:38
the actual settings of it. And in here we have always or when device is locked
0:45
I'm not exactly sure what that refers to. I guess when the Do Not Disturb mode is working, kind of a weird thing
0:51
So you can choose if you want the Do Not Disturb mode to work all the time or only when you're
0:56
not using the device. And below that we have exceptions. And in exceptions we have allow incoming calls from anyone, contacts, favorites, or no one
1:07
It is set to none so I did set it to none just to showcase another option and have it
1:12
easier to explain. So as you can see, notify about repeated calls, allow sounds for the repeated within 15 minutes
1:26
and silent mode. So in other words what this means is, as you can see we did have the setting right here
1:37
for none. So if someone calls us right now, normally with this being off they just won't be able
1:45
to get the call through at all. But if we enable this and they call us twice within a 15 minute period, we will actually
1:52
get the call completely bypassing this section right here. And it is a fairly good option to have enabled because people usually spam call you in terms
2:02
of emergencies. So while you have the Do Not Disturb mode, you won't be actually able to know that there
2:08
is some kind of emergency and this will allow you to still be aware if someone really wants
2:13
to get a hold of you. And this way they actually still be able to
2:19
Now below that, as a last option, we do have a schedule to turn on and off Do Not Disturb mode
2:26
And by default there is one created for the night time, but you can create your own if
2:30
you want to. And as you can see, all you have to do here is just set up a start time, end time and
2:35
select each day of the week that you want the Do Not Disturb mode to turn on
2:39
And that's about it. Once you have done it, tap on the check mark. Now if you created a new one, it automatically becomes, well, enabled as you can see
2:47
So you don't even need to do that. And if you decided to go with the schedule route, you don't really need to do anything
2:54
else apart from wait for the time to approach and Do Not Disturb mode will turn on automatically
3:01
But if you want to turn it on yourself manually, then simply find a toggle, tap on it and voila
3:07
we have now enabled Do Not Disturb mode. And once you're done with it, you can tap on it again to disable it
3:14
And that being said, that is how you'd set it up and use it. If you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
