to remove screen lock. So if I lock the device, you will see that there is a screen lock

Now assuming we don't know the combination for it, we'll begin by powering up the device

So hold the power key and then select shut off. And you'll also need a cable, like this one, plug them to a computer

And once the phone shuts off, you can use it to plug in the device

Give it a moment, you should see a battery indication in a moment

So once you see the battery status, you can begin to hold the power key and volume up simultaneously

So volume up, power. And once you see the logo, you can immediately let go

You can now unplug and set the device straight. So once you see the Android with no command written underneath, all you need to do now

And now we're in recovery mode. So from here we'll use volume up and down to navigate and power key to confirm

And with that in mind, select wipe data factory reset, which is right here, and confirm it
