Welcome! In front of me I have Huawei Band 8 and I'm gonna show you how to check for the system updates on this smartband

First we need to wake up the screen on our smartband and you can do it by pressing the side button

Once you wake up the screen, I use the side button again, press it again to open the menu

Then scroll through the menu, find the settings icon and tap on it

In settings scroll down and find the option called system and updates

Tap on it and here tap on software updates and the watch will or rather smartband will start

looking for the available updates. And as you can see my band is up to date but if yours

wasn't you will see the install button right here at the bottom. You can tap on it to start

downloading and updating the update. One mention though, if you want to update your band I recommend

to check for battery level first because if the battery dies during the updating process it might

damage your smartband. So either check the battery level or charge your smartband before you attempt
