hard reset the device through recovery mode and also remove a screen lock if you have

one that you just don't know. So I'm gonna quickly lock the device and you can see I do have a pattern set so I'll progress

from here as though I don't know it. And to get access to the recovery mode we'll need to number one forcibly shut off the device

so you will need to hold power key and volume down. And you also want to interact with the screen itself just so it doesn't lock it because
