There we go. And today I will show you how to hard reset the device through recovery mode

Now to begin the process you will need a cable and I will mention that normally this process

should remove a screen lock but because for some reason these devices are working really

iffy and sometimes it boots into recovery mode and sometimes it does not and I have

no clue at the moment what is really determining this difference then I'm just gonna turn it

off without actually removing a screen lock or well because normally if you try to hard

reset the device without actually knowing the combination to it you do have to forcibly

restart it by holding power key and volume down and then switching to volume up

But here when you don't put it in most of the time the device will just boot back up

normally completely bypassing the power key volume up combination to put it into recovery mode

So that's why I'm kind of saying that it can't be really done even though sometimes it does work

So I'm gonna unlock it right now and simply turn it off manually like so

And while it's turning off I'm gonna mention that you will need a cable for this. So simply plug it into your computer connect it to the phone and there was a noise from

my computer. So once connected you want to hold power key and volume up. Go to the keys at the same time and then you will see the Galaxy logo right here so you

can either hold it or let go after you see the Galaxy below that and this will most certainly

take you to recovery mode assuming you have turned off the device properly

Now from here you want to use volume keys to navigate in order to select wipe data factory

reset and then again select factory data reset and confirm it with power key and there we

go data wipe complete. So all you need to do now is press power key once more because reboot system is selected

by default and this will initiate reboot of the device while also continuing the process

in the background. Now it will take a little bit longer for the device to boot back up fully but once it has
