Welcome, in front of me is a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and today I'll show you how to perform

a hardware reset of the device through the recovery mode and also remove a screen lock

if you have one that you for instance don't know the pattern to

So let me just quickly lock the device so you can see that I do have a pattern and I'll

progress from here as though I don't know it. So number one we will need to power off the device

Now in normal circumstances this would be fairly easy but here if we try to you'll see

that once you tap on this brings up the power off pattern

So what we want to do is forcefully shut it off by holding power key and volume down and

once you see the screen go off you'll switch to holding power key and volume up

So you want to have the screen basically turned on so do that by going to pattern and

immediately holding this so you can see when it shuts off. And once it does which should be right about now, there we go, you switch to volume up

And when you see the Samsung logo you can let go. And there we go, we're now in the recovery mode

So from here scroll down to wipe data factory reset using volume keys to navigate and once

it's selected confirm it with power key and select again factory data reset and the process

will begin. It's a fairly quick one at this stage as you can see data wipe complete and reboot system

now is selected by default so press power key once more and the process will now continue

in the background. Now this will take about a minute but once it's finished we will be then greeted with
