Welcome, and for now I'm using Nokia 3.1 and I will show you how to enable Do Not Disturb
0:11
mode on this device. And to get started we will pull down the notification bar and you will see the Do Not Disturb mode
0:17
here which you can toggle by tapping on it like so. And it will enable it by basically how it's set by default, but you can also hold it
0:30
And it will take you to the settings where you can customize it a little bit further
0:35
So as you can see, you can choose how calls and messages get put through and set your
0:40
own schedule. For instance I'm going to put it here. Here's how it affects it by when you toggle it from there, how long it will work
0:47
So you can ask basically for a set specific amount of time or ask every time whenever
0:56
you toggle it. So if I'm correct, it will disable it and enable it
1:01
It should ask me about it. Let's try that again. Okay, so you see, it will pop out with this message asking me every time how long I want
1:11
to enable it for. But you can also turn it on automatically
1:21
And from here you can set an event or a time. Time is probably more reasonable, so let's just add a name to it
1:29
And from here you can set what days it's affected in. So for instance Monday through Friday, let's say like all the work days
1:36
And set it up for instance as a way to help fall asleep
1:40
And you can start it at 10, seems reasonable, and end at 7 in the morning
1:45
So between the 10 and 7 no one will be able to reach you, or well, depending on how it's
1:51
set actually. So if you go back, you have calls, and here you have the options of how calls are being
1:58
affected by the Do Not Disturb mode when the Do Not Disturb mode is turned on
2:03
So allow calls, and you can choose from no one basically, from stared contacts which
2:09
means favorite ones, from just contact list, so everybody from the contact list, and anyone
2:14
basically defeats the purpose of Do Not Disturb mode I would say
2:18
But it's an option if you need to choose it. And same options go for messages, you can choose who is allowed to send you a message
2:28
and for you to actually get a notification about that message during the Do Not Disturb mode
2:35
So I've reset it up, with also this being on, so once you go in here make sure that
2:41
this is checked on. It will automatically turn Monday through Friday, and at this specific time no one will
2:49
be able to reach you, assuming it's set that way. So once again you have the option to turn it on manually, and will be affected by these
3:03
rules here, how calls and messages are set. So if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks
