I'm going to say Nokia 4.2 and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks that we can do on this device
0:12
So we're going to begin with the one that I fairly use often
0:16
So it's the split screen option and to actually get it started we need something open so
0:22
good up would be probably YouTube so you can listen to it while you're doing other stuff
0:28
Now disregarding the fact that I'm not connected to network, I'm just going to completely
0:33
disregard that. You want to go into recent and where you have the icon of your app on the top on it and you
0:41
can see there is option called split screen. So you can top on it and then it brings up the first app always on the top and then whatever
0:49
app other one you open will be on the bottom. So you could use two different apps at the same time and this will not stop any kind of video
0:57
that you would be playing on top, no matter that you're, would be using something else
1:06
Now, moving on, I'm going to go into the theme, so there is an option called the device theme
1:15
and by default, set to automatic, which if I'm understanding it greatly
1:20
it will change either from light to dark, depending on your wallpaper
1:25
But you can set it to be static and just have it for instance constantly dark and what it will do is as you can
1:32
see for instance the notifications it's all white and blue and then it will be like
1:35
deep gray and and blue so it is enabled you want to go into the display and then let go to advanced and at the bottom you have device theme and you have light dark and automatic
1:51
Yeah, it's based on wallpaper. And now, as you can see, it's nicely dark, and it looks a little bit better, in my opinion
2:00
It's not as intrusive to the eye, for instance, when you're using the device at night. So, moving on, I'm going to go into the animation speeds
2:08
So there is a... there isn't really an option normally on the phone to change the animation speed at least
2:15
in the settings as you would normally find but you can actually enable the developer options
2:20
where you have animation speeds that you can tweak around so you want to go into the settings
2:28
and system where i am right now and then we want to go into about phone and on the bottom
2:34
you'll find build number stop on that seven times if you have some kind of pattern it will
2:39
actually confront you to confirm it and then when you do it it will unlock the developer options
2:45
and now as you can see there are the developer options that appeared on the system section and when you
2:52
go into it you can scroll down see where is it there we go so you will find window animation scale
2:59
transition animation scale and animation and duration scale now each one of them corresponds to a different
3:03
animation you can mess around with it the first window animation scale
3:09
corresponds to this window itself here. So if I change it to times 10, you'll see a more drastic difference
3:14
on how slow it opens. But as you can see, default one is one
3:19
And you can set it to, for instance, half speed. So it will be twice as fast
3:23
I'm probably should have started with this one. So now it gonna be twice as fast than it normally is Or you can just completely remove the animation by setting them to off and then anything that open close will be basically instant as you can see right now
3:38
There is no animations behind it. So it's a matter of preference
3:42
If you like to have animations, then probably half speed would be better than just none, but
3:49
turning them off will significantly, I guess, reduce the time you spend waiting for the
3:53
apps to open. So moving on to the next one, it will be the showing password option
4:01
Now by default this thing is for some ungodly reason enabled. And what it does is normally when you type in, you can see the letter that you have typed
4:10
So I'm not the biggest fan of this, considering someone can see your entire password
4:17
So to turn that off, you can go into these settings again. And then security and location
4:23
Let's go down to advanced. And once you step on it, you will see show password, disable that
4:29
And now if we go back to passwords, you will no longer see any kind of letter show up right here
4:37
Just a nice change for security reasons. And then the last thing that I want to show is screen penning
4:44
which is probably, in my opinion, the best use for it if you're lending someone on your phone
4:49
so they can use a or no look at something or if you want to lend
4:56
for instance a phone to a stranger so they can make a phone call whatever
4:59
and just a hypothetical situation you can actually make it pin an up
5:05
so for instance if they want to make a call you can pin the dialer up
5:10
and they cannot leave that up so to do it let go to settings and again security and location advanced and at the bottom you have screen pinning so top here and enable that
5:26
And then you also have the option right here, which I would highly advise on using, otherwise
5:30
this kind of isn't necessarily that good of a protection, but lack device when unpinning
5:35
So once you enable that, now I don't have any pattern or anything set up, so I'll disregard this
5:41
basically what it will do is whenever you try to leave the screen pinning it will just
5:45
lock the device and you'll have to put in a pattern pin password or your fingerprint
5:50
whichever one you use you'll have to basically unlock the device so now if we go out
5:57
here and for instance do the dialer app to to lock it all you need to do is just
6:02
go into recent tap on it as though you would want to split screen it but now you have
6:06
any option called pin you pin it then you have a quick message on how to
6:11
unpin it so hold back and home button so basically the only two buttons that you can see right here
6:19
so as you will see now i cannot leave this i cannot go into reset close this go back nothing right
6:26
i have to actually unpen it by just holding the two buttons like so there we go screen unpinnit
6:34
and now i can close it and with the option of uh of lacking the device when the when
6:41
unpins the app it will just basically lock the device and you'll have to then put in a
6:46
pattern or whatever it is to get back to it so just a nice security but this would
6:51
finish up the tweaks and tricks around the share and if you found any of them helpful don't
6:55
forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
