Welcome and follow me is an iPhone 11 Pro Max and they are show a couple
0:09
tweaks and tricks that I can perform on this device so we're gonna straight jump
0:14
into the camera shutter button which it has additional options probably not
0:20
very well displayed or not even at all but basically when you have the white button
0:24
right here you top it and it just takes a plain old boring photo now you can
0:29
drag it to the right and it will start recording like you can see right now just stop it or you can
0:35
drag it to the left and it will start capturing basically photo every like i'm not sure every
0:42
guess 10 per second would look like um but you can see basically the countdown it just keeps
0:48
capturing them whenever you slide it over and if you would go into here you will find that there
0:54
is a bit more photos than three so let's just like to go here
0:59
and you can see that it captured a bit more. There's the video
1:11
And burst, you can see 10 photos. So I'm not really sure how to actually look at 10 photos
1:19
But yeah, you can see that it basically, when you top it you have a burst 12 photos
1:25
then there should be the 10. I believe if it will be actually moving it will start like basically showing a slideshow
1:35
but because the phone was looked basically placed on the tray it wasn't even moving at all so
1:40
it just looks like a still photo but yeah that's basically the first thing now moving on
1:45
there is a option which right now you can't really see the part at all just try it like this
1:54
so if I open it you can see there's the black bar now there's the black bar now there's
1:58
is a nice handy feature for you to basically swipe between apps by just dragging it to the
2:04
side like so you can see it and you basically swipe in between all the open apps. For me there's
2:12
not very many so you just seen only just several but basically if you want to go in between two
2:19
apps you can just kind of keep swiping on the bottom like like so to quickly switch between
2:25
apps. So it's just a handy feature. Now another thing I will touch on is the control center
2:33
So once you pull it from the right side, top right here, you'll have just the plain all access
2:38
to the control center. Now there's nothing really much special in it. But what you didn't know
2:43
probably is the fact that you can add shortcuts to it if you go into the settings and find
2:48
control center right here, customize. And you will find basically additional things you can
2:55
add here so if I for instance alarm and I drag it down you can see that there is a
3:02
new icon for alarm and so on so you can keep adding stuff that you wish from here Okay so moving on we gonna go into the dark mode
3:15
And there's two ways of enabling it. So as a, before we actually start
3:20
if you open up messages, it's all white, phone, all white. Now one quick way to enable it is to control center
3:28
and if you hold the brightness, you'll have the little toggle right here, dark mode off, dark more on, and let's just close this off. And now if I go into the messages
3:40
they're black, phone is black, basically everything just turned dark mode. And also as you can see
3:47
the wallpaper has changed too. Previously where you have now black, it was white. So just as an example
3:53
you can pay attention to the blurred image on the background. If I top it, it changes back to
3:59
white. So that is one thing to also keep in mind that it changes the stock background
4:05
There's a few of them that are affected by it. Now if you set your own wallpaper, it will not
4:09
change because it just affected by the ones that Apple provided. So yeah, now this is one way
4:18
of enabling it and there's also another one through the settings and if you go under
4:24
display and brightness you should find dark mode. somewhere in here on the red is on the top so just by tapping on it you can toggle it on and off like this
4:38
yeah so moving further along we're going to the way that you can power off the phone
4:46
now if you realize if you previously you hold the power key to basically gain access to slide to power off
4:53
now if you do the same thing it just opens up Siri and doesn't only give you anything so to gain access to
4:59
to that you will hold power and a volume up together like this and then it will
5:05
give you the option to slide to power off now I think there's also another
5:10
one if you do volume up down and then hold it and does the same thing without the
5:15
emergency call so that's a little hidden kind of thing that now is not easily
5:22
accessible as it was previously but it's still there and moving further along
5:29
we're gonna go into the what is it the scrollable screenshot so normally if you
5:39
press the volume up and power key and I mean like quick press not hold like
5:44
it is you'll get a plain old boring screenshot and if you tap on it you get
5:49
option to just crop it if you want to now as you can see right between the
5:55
behind underneath the buttons right here you just have immediately the screenshot that I have taken there is no options here now I found that there is
6:02
through Safari just rid of this if you take a screenshot in Safari where you
6:07
actually have a scrollable content like this you can take a scrollable screenshot so stop on it again and you can see that there is now additional option right here full page And you can see that it just captures the entire web page that we have
6:22
they could scroll through. So yeah, now I only found it to be working in Safari so I'm not exactly sure if there is
6:30
other apps that support it, do they need to support it? But as you can see, it most certainly works with Safari
6:38
I'd also expect that it might work with messages, but as you can see, there is no messages to really look through here
6:46
So moving on, we're going to go into the locking notes. So if you go in here, as you can see, the note is already locked
6:54
And if you try to gain access to it, you know, you would need to know the pass code to it
7:00
And to do it, you can just let's create a new note, type whatever in here
7:05
It doesn't really matter. I'm doing an example of it. and then you tap on the share button and you will have
7:12
lock note right here. So once more if I tap on the square right here
7:18
you have lock note and then it tells you to put a password that you wish to use
7:24
so like so okay so I guess I have to confirm the password or
7:34
but yeah basically you just tap here and then You can put in a password of it and it becomes locked just as the previous one
7:43
So that's a handy thing if you want to keep your stuff a little bit more protected
7:49
So moving on, we're going to go into a kind of a hidden feature of the device
7:53
So if you scroll, pull down the control center, you will see that there is no recording
7:58
and there's not really anywhere shown that you can record basically the device, like how you use it
8:06
And you have actually a bus. that I can toggle into here as I shown previously to do it so you're going to the
8:14
control center which is here where was it then customize it and at the bottom
8:24
somewhere you will find screen recording so just add that and now if you pull down
8:29
the control center you will find a recording button so once you tap on it starts
8:34
countdown from three and then as you can see the icon right here
8:38
Here it starts recording it. And now whatever I do on the screen will be recorded
8:44
So if I just open something to anything, it's all being recorded
8:50
Now I'm going to close it and show how it looks like
8:54
So right now this is the recording. And you can see that it starts moving
9:01
Basically recorded everything that I have done throughout the entire time. And yeah, so like I said, it's not very known, it's kind of hidden in my opinion
9:13
So yeah that how you enable it Now moving on we going to go into the quality of the video So by default I believe
9:26
iPhone has it set to take video. So if you go into camera at 1080p, I think it's 60 frames
9:35
but I'm not exactly sure. And as you can see now it's changed to 4K at 60. But to do it
9:41
you would have to go into the settings and then go all the way down to Kim
9:46
camera and you have the option right here. So video recording as you can see now it's set
9:52
to 4k at 60 but by default I said it's I think set to 60 by 1080p and keep in mind that
10:01
if you change it to anything higher or lower the size of the file will also vary. You have a
10:06
little message right here to show you around rough estimate of how much space it will
10:11
take up so it doesn't really set okay a minute so each minute of each quality will for instance 720 p at 30 takes only 40
10:24
megabytes well 4k at 60 takes 10 times more 400 megabytes and if your if your device is
10:33
also like this one which is I think 64 gigabyte then that space will run out fairly
10:39
quickly if you want to take a bunch of photos or videos of this quality so keep that
10:44
in mind. But the 4k 60 is basically the smoothest and nice looking quality that you probably
10:52
would want to use in a long run anyway. So moving on, we're going to go into the Hey Siri option
11:01
which you can access it by basically just holding the key. But there's also option
11:07
hello Siri? For some reason she doesn't want to access. I'm really sure why. But normally
11:14
you will just hold the par key and you will have the hey Siri option but there's
11:19
actually an option to change it so you don't actually have to hold the key you would just say
11:23
hey Siri and she would launch so you're going on to the settings and then it's somewhere under
11:31
Siri and search I think there it is and you have listen for hey Siri so once you enable that
11:37
enable hey Siri and she just basically I think launched hey Siri
11:44
and you can see that it basically reacts like this, Hey Siri, send a message
11:52
So me get a basic guide on it, she basically listens to you
11:56
to kind of recognize your voice and stuff like that. And then later on you can, without actually pressing the button, start speaking
12:03
No way, Hey Siri, and then just give her a basic task to perform
12:07
like you were shown right here, which is, for instance, send a message
12:11
and she just kind of does it. So that would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I wanted to share and if you found this very helpful
