Welcome, in front of me is a realme 7 Pro and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and
0:10
tricks you can do on this device. So starting off we're going to begin with the dark mode which will allow you to turn
0:16
system wide dark mode. Now you can quickly access it through a notification panel as you can see right over here
0:22
Tap on that toggle, it goes to the animation and there we go, we're now in dark mode
0:28
That will also include default apps as you can see. So any kind of pre-installed apps that come with the device will now be in dark mode
0:36
Now when it comes down to apps that you have downloaded from play store, that is going
0:41
to be kind of iffy depending if the developer decided to include it or not
0:45
So primarily it depends on the developer of the application. Now moving on, we're going to go to the screen color mode which will allow you to change
0:54
the color mode of the display and by default it's set to the vivid mode which for some
0:59
people might be a little bit too saturated. To change this we're going to go into the display and brightness, scroll down to screen
1:08
color mode and as you can see you have the vivid, you also have the balanced or gentle
1:15
And you can tap on each one of them to see the difference. It looks like brilliant seems to be the even more saturated version of vivid and the gentle
1:24
is probably something that is the closest to real because let's be honest, vivid probably
1:31
will be a little bit too bright. Now when it comes down to it, it's all a matter of personal preference and if you like vivid
1:40
or maybe brilliant, that is completely fine and completely up to you
1:44
So stick with whichever one you like more. Now you also have a couple images that you can cycle through just to see the difference
1:51
right here. And yeah, so choose whichever one for you looks the best
1:59
Now moving on to the next option, it's going to be the home screen mode
2:03
Now as you can see, by default we have the app drawer right here which we can change
2:07
by going into the settings and then home screen and wallpaper and home screen mode and you
2:15
have also the standard mode. Now with standard mode, when you enable it, you will basically have all the apps that
2:21
you have installed smack in the middle of your home screen kind of like an Apple device
2:25
and you can just create folders if you want to hide them. So if that is something that you don't want, then I suggest you stay on the drawer mode
2:33
And as you can see, also if you scroll down, you have the simple mode which will make the icons super big
2:38
And that is designed specifically for more elderly people just so they have a little
2:42
bit of an easier time using a smartphone. So whichever one you choose, make sure you tap on apply
2:48
The device will basically apply it and then you will see the change
2:53
And moving on to my last tweak, or well, second last, it's going to be the swipe down on home
3:01
screen which by default it launches this search but we can change it for something that I
3:07
personally prefer more which is pulling down the notification panel. So again we're going to go into the home screen wallpaper and then look for swipe down
3:18
on home screen, notification, and now if we swipe down it will pull down notification
3:23
panel, which I prefer more other than that search. And moving on to the last option, it's going to be the pull up on apps which will, it's
3:36
kind of weirdly named but basically what it allows you to do is when you have for instance
3:41
a page like this and you're holding your phone in a single hand it's going to be really
3:45
tough to reach to that settings page. So what you can do is simply swipe up on the edge and from here it sends you to your settings
3:54
So as you can see when you start swiping up it just starts to, well, minimizes everything
4:00
into this compact region. And I'm not sure if the device locked, yeah, for some reason it did
4:06
So yeah, you can basically minimize this compact region and simply while keeping your
4:13
finger on the display start sliding until you select something that you want to open
4:19
So fairly quick one and it's also enabled by default, so yeah
4:23
And if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
