Welcome. In front of me is an op-po pad air and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this tablet
0:12
So it would be relatively simple but, nonetheless, maybe some of you will find some of them interesting
0:18
Anyway, to get started, I'm going to navigate to the display section
0:22
And here we have light and dark mode switch, but under that we also have a schedule
0:26
Now this has been at least already for like a year or a year
0:30
or longer. So it basically automatically allows you to automatically switch between
0:34
light and dark mode either based on sunset to sunrise or on a custom timer of your
0:40
choice. Now going back we have under a little bit lower we have display size right
0:47
here which just allows you to have that under standard or shrink everything to a smaller
0:53
size so you have more content. If you have some problem with like eyesight probably
0:58
we stick with the standard but if you don't then this kind of gives you a little bit nicer view
1:05
so it feels like the displays a little bit more spacious because of it which is what i personally like now for the video i will stick back with the standard just because for you it might be a little bit easier on the video if you watching this specifically on the phone or something like that
1:20
Bigger text is probably better for you right now. Now anyway, moving on to the next thing, it's going to be the navigation
1:28
So I've been using gestures which you can enable. And to do so, you can go into additional settings
1:35
system navigation, and here you have gestures and buttons. So you can choose whichever one you want, whatever is your preferred navigation style
1:44
If you decided to maybe draw the setup, select gestures but you don't want them
1:49
can swap back to buttons or vice versa. Now there's also additional nice setting in here for the gestures, which is the hide gesture bar
1:58
which hides this bar right here. So it just makes it look a little bit cleaner by removing this, just literally hiding the bar, and that's about it
2:06
Now moving on, we also have notification icons, so hiding them or just making it a little bit more compact
2:15
So we're going to go into notifications and status bar. Status bar
2:22
And in here you have notification icons. By default you will have the show icons like this but you can for instance make it compact by just showing you the number of them or you can just completely hide them if you want to now personally here I like the number so it will give you just a single
2:39
number of notifications that you have and from there you can access them by
2:43
swiping obviously down on your from the top of your screen now the last thing
2:49
that I wanted to show is just the power button option so in about in additional
2:54
settings you will find power button and here you can deactivate the voice
3:01
assistant by selecting the power many so now when you hold your power button
3:05
instead of getting the Google Assistant which there we go so now I just
3:12
bring it it just brings the power many personally I like this more I don't use
3:17
voice assistant at all so to me it's a little bit more annoying when I hold
3:22
the button and it just brings this up so that's why I included it and last thing is this
3:31
little side panel which is accessible straight from the get-go you don't need to do anything extra
3:36
shows up here and select edit if you want to and you can add more icons into here so applications and also toggles or shortcuts They called tools right here but they basically shortcuts to like screenshots
3:51
and screen recordings. If you don't care for them, you can completely remove them
3:55
And just have, for instance, a bunch of applications. I can just add a couple
4:03
There we go. Select done. And from here, you can access this panel wherever you are
4:10
You can top on it and as you can see it opens it up in a pop-up view
4:14
You can move it around. You can also full-screen it. I believe we should be able to..
4:23
...somehow, there we go. Hide it to the side. So as you can see by swiping it all the way to the edge, it hides it
4:29
And then you can swipe up on it to get it back
4:37
Now see if I close this, it's still. stays open and you can still access it. So there we go. Now if you found this video
