Hi everyone, in front of me I've got a Nokia G42 and let me share with you how to change keyboard language on this device

Let's start with opening the app which will provide us with the keyboard. So the messages, notes, browser, whatever, just have the keyboard on the screen

And then let's enter the settings which are in this panel. So let's tap on this icon here and then tap on the languages

Now we have to tap on add keyboard. And here we've been transferred to the list of available keyboard languages from which we can choose

So basically find yours and tap on it. Of course you can enter the name of it, you don't have to scroll

And tap. Sometimes you can also pick the region, so just tap

And here we've got the keyboard layouts from which we can choose

It depends on the language, sometimes you will have 7 different layouts, sometimes only 1

So let's pretend I want to use this one, so let me mark it and untick this option

So thanks to this I will use only this layout. So let's tap on done

And as you can see the language has been applied to the list of currently applied languages

We can go back to the keyboard right now and check. And basically we will have 2 differences

The globe icon which is responsible for changing the layout. As you can see we can have the English and immediately after tapping on it we've got the Urdu

What is more, the space bar, it is not empty. Right now we've got the name of the language we are currently using

So now let me show you how to remove the language. Because sometimes you don't want to have 2 different languages added

You just want to have different language than the system one. So let's enter the settings, tap on the languages

And here in this step we have to tap on this edit icon in the right upper corner

Mark the language you want to remove. So I will be left with English and the trash bin icon

We've got only English so after getting back to the keyboard you can see that we do not have the globe icon

The space bar is empty which simply means that we've got only one language applied
