Welcome and follow me as a ZTE A53+
0:04
And today I will show you how you can enable and also set up your Do Not Disturb mode
0:15
So to get started, let's pull down our notifications. I'm going to swipe down once more to extend the list of toggles
0:22
And we're looking for the Do Not Disturb toggle. Now for me, for some reason, it's not added
0:26
I believe it should be visible by default, but if you can't see it on either page
0:32
then you'll need to press right here on this pencil, swipe down
0:35
and somewhere in here we will find our Do Not Disturb. For me, it is right over here
0:40
Once you see this tile, hold it and drag it over to the top
0:45
Once it lifts up, drop it. And when you go back, you can now access it in your toggles
0:52
Now from here, we're going to start off with the setup of it. So we're going to hold it
0:57
And this will now take us to the settings. So in here, quickly going into the more important options, we have people
1:05
This will allow you to select who can call you or message you
1:13
Then below that, we have apps and notifications and stuff like that. You can select whatever you want right here
1:18
Another important option will be the schedule. This will simply allow you to select a fully automatic mode
1:24
So the Do Not Disturb mode will turn on and off automatically
1:28
based on the provided day of the week and time. And then below that, another option that is fairly useful
1:35
is the duration for quick settings. By default, it's always set to be until you turn it off
1:42
What I recommend doing though is selecting it on a timer. By default, this one gives you one hour, but we can increase it
1:48
So I'm going to make it something like four hours. Now, just to explain why I recommend doing this
1:56
So when this is set exactly like this, for instance, with the four hours
2:00
that's just how I set it up. Once I confirm it and I enable my Do Not Disturb mode
2:08
it will be turned on for exactly four hours every single time
2:13
Now, the reason I recommend setting that up is because personally, when I enable the Do Not Disturb mode, I enable it sporadically
2:22
So I'll probably enable it and then forget about it because I use it so
2:26
you know, not very often. So it doesn't really stay in my mind that I need to turn it off
2:32
And because of that, I would recommend the four hours, or obviously that's my kind of timer that I would set up
2:39
but you can set it up to be whatever. So I choose four hours because I consider this to be the perfect amount of time
2:44
to cover whatever I would need the mode for. And if I forget about it, give it a couple of extra hours just in case
2:52
the mode will then turn off automatically after the four hours passes. And that being said, I can still turn it off manually if I remember about it
3:01
by simply tapping on a toggle once more. So it just kind of prevents me from, well, if I would forget about it
3:07
and then running indefinitely in the background till I actually manage to remember that
3:11
oh yeah, I turned it on a week ago. So that's why I recommend setting this up
3:18
So those are all the important options in here that I recommend changing
3:23
Once it's all set, you can then enable it and disable it at your will
3:28
So now when you find it, you can just simply tap on it to turn it on and off
3:33
and you're good to go. And additional info, going back to the settings
3:38
if you are planning to use schedule, just make sure that you enable the schedule right here with this checkmark
3:44
That's all you need to do. The phone will do everything else for you. So now with that being said
