Welcome, in front of me is a Doogee S80 and today I will show you how to enable and set
0:11
up the portable hotspot. So to get started you want to pull down your notification panel, expand it and look for
0:17
the hotspot toggle, which for me looks to be not here, so I'm gonna hide it maybe
0:24
Yep, there we go. As you can see you can tap on this pencil icon and this will show you toggles that are
0:30
turned off. So, there's the hotspot, you want to just grab it and drag it over, drop it and when
0:36
you go back you will now have a new toggle here. So once you have that hotspot toggle you can now hold that toggle which will take you to settings
0:45
And from here we can select Wi-Fi hotspot, then set up Wi-Fi hotspot and gives us all
0:54
the settings that we need. So the thing that I most certainly recommend you to do is either check or change your password
1:03
By default it is some randomly generated one, so we can select it and remove it completely
1:08
and set our own. Now it does need to have 8 characters in length, that can be letters or numbers, at which point
1:15
you will be able to save it. Additionally you can change the network name, by default it has the name of the device but
1:22
you can change it to anything else that you want. And if we scroll down we also have the AP band, although we only have one option so
1:30
I guess not much of a setting here. And then at the bottom we have the maximum amount of users that can connect at a single moment
1:39
So by default it's set to 6, you can make this number higher or lower depending on how
1:43
many people you want to share your hotspot to that can use it at once
1:49
I will select it to be 1. And from there select save, which will save all the settings that we have chosen
1:55
And we can now turn it on either from here, so right now it's on, or through the toggle
2:02
right over here. So right now it's on, so if I tap on it again it will now turn it off
2:08
And going to the turning off feature, you do want to turn it off when you're done with
2:13
it because Hotspot does consume more of your battery and if you're not using it then there
2:18
is no reason for you to be basically wasting your battery. And that being said, if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe

and thanks for watching
