Welcome! In front of me I have Polar Vintage M2 and I'm gonna show you how to pair this watch with an iPhone
0:11
First thing we need to do is to turn on our watch and you can do it by pressing and holding the middle button right here
0:17
Keep holding it until you see the Polar logo on the screen and once you see the logo you can release the button and wait until the watch turns on
0:26
After the watch turns on we need to download and install the Polar Flow application on our iPhone
0:34
So make sure you have the internet connection and Bluetooth enabled. Once you do open the App Store on your iPhone
0:42
In the App Store tap on the search icon right here, then tap on the search bar and type in Polar Flow
0:50
And then tap on search. Scroll through the list, find this application Polar Flow, tap on it, then tap on the get button to download and install it
1:05
And after the application is done installing you can tap on the open button to open it
1:10
Once you open the application you may see couple of pop-ups about the permissions
1:15
For example Bluetooth permission, this one is required so I recommend to tap on OK
1:20
Next permission is for the notifications. This one is not required but if you want to receive the notifications from your iPhone on your watch you need to allow this permission
1:29
So if you want to use this feature allow the permission, if you don't care you can deny it
1:34
And once you're done with the permissions tap on get started. Here we need to login into Polar Flow account
1:40
If you don't have an account you can tap on create account right here. I already have an account so I'm gonna tap on here, enter the email address and password
1:51
And then I'm gonna tap on sign in to log in. After you log in you may be redirected to this page automatically but if you want to be redirected you can tap on the more options icon, tap on devices and it should bring you to this page
2:10
And once you see this page we need to enter the pairing mode on our watch
2:15
To do it you can simply press and hold the back button right here on the left side of the watch
2:21
If you press and hold it the watch will enter the pairing slash syncing mode and then the app will detect the watch automatically
2:29
You can tap on start, tap on pair, confirm the pairing by pressing the button
2:40
Here we can allow or deny the location for the permission. This is required if you want to track your routes like for the running, hiking, cycling and stuff like that
2:50
If you don't care you can deny it. I'm just gonna allow it. And right here we can change some settings for our watch
2:56
We can change the time format, preferred wrist, language and the preferred sleep time
3:01
And once you're done you can tap on save and sync. As you can see we have an update for our watch
3:06
And we can't skip it really. We can tap on update and it's gonna start updating the watch
3:12
It's recommended to plug your watch to the charger while it's updating so the battery won't die during the updating process
3:21
Now let's wait until it's done. As you can see here we have the estimated time so it might take a while
3:36
Okay, that took a while but as you can see the updating is complete
3:40
And once you see this page you can tap on view introductions or introduction
3:45
If you want to see the tutorial how to use the app I'm just gonna tap on close to skip this
3:49
And it will redirect us to the menu. Now we can tap on devices and on the devices page you should see Polar Vantage M2 right here
3:59
And that means that devices are paired together and that's how you pair this watch with the iPhone
