Welcome. And for me is an Infinitex Hot 20 and today I will show you how we can apply tempered glass to this device
0:10
I'll be using a temper glass for a different device but it probably doesn't matter. It should fit as well on this one
0:17
So I think I grabbed the wrong one. Yep. That's not going to be the one
0:24
Actually this fits pretty well too. Actually better than I would have expected. So anyway
0:30
Actually, I'm going to keep it here. So there's our tempered glass
0:35
Now inside of the packet, you should also have... There we go
0:40
One of these. So a wet and a dry wipe. Whatever I recommend doing if you get one of ones that look exactly like this
0:47
just toss them out. They're completely useless. They're absolutely pitifully small, and the solution that they use usually leaves smudges
0:56
and it's not the best kind of experience right there. So what I recommend doing is using a microfiber cloth, like this one
1:04
If you have one, if you don't, you could use the little wipes that you get provided with
1:08
but I'll be completely honest. Even a t works better than the little microfiber or the little wipes that they give you So yeah just use anything that gets the job done
1:21
Clean off your display. Now, before I do so, I'm going to quickly go into the way I apply my tempered glass
1:27
before I start cleaning it off because I'll just make it dirty anyway. So there's my tempered glass, and the way I hold it is just from the both pezzles or the edges like this
1:36
And then while applying it at an angle, not such a harsh one
1:40
but you get the point. I place it down. And as you can see, this one has a cutout
1:46
which is pretty nice to kind of showcase this. You have a camera. Align the cutout with the camera first
1:52
So make sure that it is basically in the middle, as you can see, so it's not too high, too low
1:56
and not too much to one of the sides. So just kind of align everything around the camera
2:02
And the way you pinch the display, you also want to then start feeling the bezels of the phone
2:07
which allows you to kind of shift it to the left or right. And when you have it in a good place, for instance, like right now
2:14
apply a little bit more pressure so it doesn't really move around too much. And then just lower it down, also using the same logic by pinching the bezels of the phone as well
2:23
to just feel what is the middle of the screen or position of it And then just simply drop it and it should then apply itself So there we go That kind of the way I do it Now when cleaning up the display you want to
2:39
firstly get every kind of like speck of dirt on it, smudges, any kind of like weird stuff on here
2:51
Now once you got the display clean, next thing that you want to watch out for is
2:57
just dust. Make sure that you get rid of all the dust on the display
3:03
Thank you. Pretty good. Once that's done, go straight to applying the glass
3:11
So peel off whatever little sticker you have right here, the number one, if you have more than one, and then go straight to applying it
3:19
and done. There's go. And done
3:30
Perfect. As you can see, pretty simple. Not much. Not many things can go wrong here
3:37
If you don't have any kind of dust on your display, you will have no problem with air just being trapped on the display But if you do for some reason something like that happens which sometimes might happen for several
3:55
or I did have several encounters where air would get trapped, like right here in the corners
4:00
and then when you try to squeeze it out, it just doesn't come out, it just gets compressed
4:04
So if you have such a problem, you can use your fingernail, lift up the actual tempered glass a little bit
4:09
and then reapply it by trying to push out the air out of it. can gear it pretty nicely in there and get rid of all the air that is trapped there
4:18
Obviously, if you have somewhere else, like in a middle, you can try to just squeeze it out if it doesn't want to go, lift up the glass a little bit more
4:25
Though when lifting it up, for instance, like a past halfway point, I would recommend
4:30
keeping a pressure somewhere on the display, on the tempered glass, just so it doesn't like come
4:35
up all the way. You just want to lift it up so the air or the trapped air can get
4:43
free, but you don't want to lift up the tempered glass. So, yeah
4:48
