How to Install Additional Watch Faces in GARMIN Forerunner 45 HR – Set Up New Watch Faces

Hi, in front of me I have Garmin Forerunner 45HR and I'm gonna show you how to install

additional watch faces on this device. First we need to open the Garmin Connect app on our phone and of course our watch needs

to be paired with our phone via this app. In the app let's select our watch right here by tapping this icon and now you should see

the Forerunner 45 device page. On this page tap on the appearance, here select the watch face and then tap on the get more

watch faces button. Now we can download and install the Connect IQ app

If you want to use the app it's gonna be basically more convenient than using the browser but

As you can see we open the browser. Then usually you're gonna be asked to login into a Garmin account before you see this

watch faces you can install on your watch. Scroll through the list, find the watch face you'd like to install

Tap on the watch face to select it. You should open the watch face page and right here you have some info about the watch face

and how it works. You have a list of compatible devices. You can check if the Forerunner 45 is on the list and it is

And then you can tap on download button to download and install the watch face

As you can see it says that it's gonna be installed after we sync our watch with our

phone next time. So we can go back by tapping on back right here

Go back to the app. Go to the device page of your Forerunner and as you can see the watch is already syncing

with our phone so let's wait. And after the devices are done syncing the watch face should be applied

For some reason the devices are not syncing. After you install the watch face you can simply tap on this button right here to re-sync them

like that. And you can also go back to the appearance watch face and here you have list of installed
