through recovery mode and also get rid of a screen lock if you have one that you just don't know

Now to get started I'm going to lock the device just so you can see that I do have a pattern set

on my phone and I'll progress from here as though I don't know it. So number one we're

going to need to turn off our device by holding the power key. I think it's power key

Let's try volume up in this case. Power, yep okay so it's power key and volume up

From here swipe down to power it off and we're going to wait for it to turn

off. Once it does hold power key and volume down at the same time

Once you see the realme logo after a moment you can let go. You'll see a recovery mode in a tiny

little text in a corner. Once you do let go and from there simply wait for this to show up

In here I'm going to select our language then we're going to choose format data. This will

then present us with a verification code that we need to just insert. Now this code is randomly

generated every single time as you can see it's right now 3246. If I go back and come back in

here it's going to be now 1626. It's not like anything associated with protecting your device

like pin, pattern, password. It's just a verification pin that you need to put in here

to confirm that you actually want to reset the device and it is obviously displayed

We can now put 1626 format. Now at this stage it only takes as you can see a couple seconds

From there you can click on OK once it gives you the data. The format has been successful

and now it's going to continue resetting the device in the background. Because of this it

will take it a little bit longer to boot back up because it's like I said continuing resetting
