reset this device through recovery mode in order to get rid of, for instance, something

like a screen lock. So anyway, to get started you will want to hold power key and volume down

This will bring up boot options. From here select power off. This will turn off the device and once your phone is off you want to hold power key and

volume down at the same time

When you see the OnePlus logo let go of the power key and then when you see the language

selection you can let go of the volume down as well. So from here you want to select your language by simply tapping on it and then select wipe data

It gives us some kind of a code that it randomly generates as you can see right over here

So simply put it in on the keypad. So for me it's 3823

Now it is randomly generated every time you go in here for you obviously it will be different

but once you confirm it select format data. Now we do have a counter right here so let's give it a couple seconds

It's barely visible. There we go. You can select format. As you can see it will start formatting data

Click on OK. This will reboot the device while it's also going to continue the process in the background

while it's rebooting. So the device will take a little bit longer to boot back up but once the factory reset
