In front of me is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE and today I will show you how you can hard

reset the device through settings. So to get started, let's obviously navigate into the settings

From here, scroll all the way down to General Management, select Reset, and then select

Lockthrough Data Reset. This will provide you with basic info what this process will remove

So as you can see we have things like Account, System Updater, Settings, blah blah blah

no one really cares about this. But what you do should care about is things like here, Music, Photos, and User Data

This is probably the only thing you should care about considering, for example, Google Account

It doesn't actually delete your account, it just removes it from the device. You can re-login to it at any point after it's finished, so it doesn't really matter

It also shows you which accounts it removes, which, like I said, like it matters

And then also gives you a bunch of applications that have some accounts, so yeah, whatever

So anyway, going back to the actual things that do matter, Music, Pictures, and User

Data, if you want to preserve some of those, do make a backup copy of it beforehand by

I don't know, copying the data to your computer or somewhere else

And once you're done so you can then progress further by scrolling down, selecting Reset

Now if you have some kind of screen lock, PIN, pattern, password, you will need to confirm it

And then select Delete All. So apparently I need to log in, or not log in, but log out of the Samsung account, because

providing the pattern seemed to basically have absolutely zero f-ing point. There we go, it took me a couple of tries to find the password that I was looking for

So once you actually sign out of your Samsung account, it will begin the process

So yeah, this should take only a couple of minutes, so I'm going to let it run and come

back once it's completed. And as you can see now the process is finished, and you can set up your device however you like
