Hi everyone, in front of me I've got Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
0:04
and let me share with you how to enable the developer options on this device
0:13
So first of all we have to enter the settings and then in this left section we have to scroll down
0:19
all the way down basically, to find the About tablet. Right here we have to find the
0:25
the build number which should be somewhere here in the software information. Let's tap on it
0:30
and as you can see the build number should appear right under the kernel version
0:34
Basically we were looking for the build number because right now we have to keep tapping on it
0:39
which may be quite confusing but this is a way to actually unlock the developer options. So let's
0:44
keep tapping and as you can see the developer mode has been turned on. So right now we can
0:49
go back to the general settings in order to find them. And also a quick disclaimer
0:54
your device will ask you to enter the screen lock if you've got one currently set
0:58
because you have to confirm this step as the developer options are advanced. So as you can
1:04
see in this left section we have to scroll down again because the developer options will appear
1:08
under the About tablet. So let's tap on it and here we've got plenty of advanced settings which
1:13
we can customize. So this list is quite long as you can see. So for example we can enable the
1:21
strict mode, we can show view updates, we can change the minimum width, we can show surface
1:28
updates, visual feedback for tabs. So those options are kind of I would say visual and more like a
1:35
personalization section. Here we've got also the section which is connected to the networking
1:41
because we've got the bluetooth here, we've got the USB options and the wi-fi and so on
1:48
So all we have to do basically in order to turn on a particular feature we have to tap on it
1:53
So let me turn on the pointer location and as you can see it will be immediately activated and
1:58
applied. Of course you can turn it off the same way so it works just like in any other options
2:03
in any other settings. If you've got the options without the switcher you will have to tap on it
2:09
So the window animations can for example to open this pop-out window with more options to choose
2:15
from. If you are done with customization of developer options you can turn them off so they
2:20
will disappear from this list. All you have to do is simply tap on the switcher at the top
2:26
and turn them off. As you can see most of those options will be inactive. What is more in the
2:32
settings that the developer options which were right here simply disappear. But of course no
2:38
worries you can customize them again. Just go back to the build number step and keep tapping
2:43
So basically that's all. This is how to enable the developer options in your Samsung Galaxy Tab
2:49
S6 Lite. Thank you so much for watching. I hope that this video was helpful and if it was
