Welcome, Enfanami is a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and today I will show you how you can enable
0:06
and also set up your portable hotspot. So to get started, let's pull down our notifications, extend the list and somewhere between those
0:17
toggles you should find on one of the pages a hotspot toggle
0:21
So for me it's right over here. Once you lock this toggle you could tap on it to turn it on but you will be missing one
0:30
crucial thing which is the password which you can get by holding the toggle
0:34
This will take you to the settings where you can, for instance, tap on the password and view it
0:38
Now I do recommend instead of viewing it to remove it and set up your own because as you've
0:43
probably seen this password was absolutely atrocious with randomly generated numbers and letters
0:49
So your new password does need to have at least 8 characters in length and that can
0:54
be letters or numbers, it doesn't really matter. So I'm gonna set up my own very complex one
1:01
There we go. And that's basically all I would recommend changing. As you can see hotspot name which will basically be the WiFi name as the name of the phone
1:12
In this case it's Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. And you have also some additional things for extended compatibility to include like
1:21
a stupid notification sound. So we have turned on to use 2.4 GHz hotspot
1:31
Now if you will be using or trying to connect to this hotspot with some older device then
1:38
I do recommend turning this on. If you, whatever you tried to connect to it, to this hotspot where it doesn't basically
1:44
see any kind of hotspot by this name, that means that it does not support 5 GHz hotspot
1:49
and just toggle this on and it should solve your problem. Otherwise, if whatever the device you're connecting with to this hotspot supports 5G
1:59
or 5 GHz not 5G, WiFi specifically, then keep this off. Otherwise it might be using a little bit more battery which if you were not utilizing it
2:09
why turn it on? And next thing here is the timeout setting
2:15
So we have it set to 10 minutes. I do recommend keeping it on
2:18
This will ensure that once you're done using your hotspot and you forgot to turn it off, which it does consume more battery, the device will turn it off for you, saving you just battery
2:28
So anyway, once the settings have been changed to your liking, you can close this and you
2:33
don't have to come back here ever again if you don't want to change any of the settings
2:38
And whenever you want to utilize your hotspot, simply find the title, tap on it, this will
2:41
enable it and there we go. You have this little pop-up right here showing you that it is running
2:46
You can also see right here that it's on and that's it
2:50
You can connect it. And after obviously 10 minutes, as it is set for me, it will automatically turn it off
2:56
if no device is utilizing the hotspot. You can also turn it off yourself right when you're done using it by finding the toggle
3:06
and tapping on it once more. So anyway, with that being said, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like
3:13
subscribe and thanks for watching
