portable hotspot. Now to get started, let's pull down the notification panel and find the toggle, which for me looks

like it's on the second page. So before you actually tap on it, hold the toggle and this will take us to the settings

where we can go into the Wi-Fi hotspot and change things like the password, which is

randomly generated every time, at least every time you set up a device

So once you change it from here, it will then be set to your desired password

I'm going to make it something fairly simple. It needs to have at least 8 characters in length and once it has, you can tap on OK

Then we also have a B-band. Now this is going to basically determine a little bit of how fast and stable the network is

I'll go with the 5GHz one. Now if you set it to 5GHz and your device that you're trying to connect to Wi-Fi isn't

seeing any kind of network, that means that it just doesn't support it

Now also another thing that I'll say is the 5GHz right here is strictly for Wi-Fi and

it has nothing to do with the new phones that support the 5GHz cellular data

So these are completely separate things. And yeah, so if you set it to 5GHz and your device doesn't see it, go back here and change

it back to 2.4GHz and everything should be OK. Now the 5GHz one will be just overly better, more stable, faster

That's why I would suggest you to first try it and if it doesn't work then change it back

And from here, last thing left I would say is the hotspot name

As you can see by default it's just the name of the device which is OnePlus Nord

And you can change it if you want to to something else. It's just going to be the name of the Wi-Fi visible in the list

So that's what you're going to be looking for. And from there simply tap on a checkmark either right here or by tapping on the toggle right

over here to enable hotspot. And that is how you would enable it

Now keep in mind you will have to disable it later on once you're finished with it
