Welcome and follow me as a Sony Xperia PRO-I or PRO-1 and today I will show you
0:15
how you can bypass the Google verification on this phone. So I could
0:21
progress through the setup just to show you that the device is locked but the simplest little thing that I can do without wasting time is just show you
0:27
this icon right here, lock. This means that the device is locked right now. Now
0:31
the ways of unlocking it for me right now are just through Google account and
0:35
also through pattern. If that will matter in any way later on I don't actually know
0:41
so that's why I'm mentioning it right now. Anyway one requirement that we will
0:45
need for this is a SIM card and as you can see I do have one right over here
0:50
It's just a typical SIM card nothing special about it. The only thing that it
0:56
has is a pin which is required. If your SIM card doesn't have a pin just pop it
1:00
into a different device, set up a pin on it and then use it in this phone. So from
1:08
here we're gonna insert it in. Give it a second and it should show up. There we go
1:13
with the insert SIM pin and we're just gonna take it out and I don't know if
1:24
this is normal or not we should get a pop-up right here but for some reason
1:29
for me it is here but it's not visible so when I slide down there we go it
1:34
shows up. It already shows up with the option to manage so if you for you it
1:39
looks the same way just again do the same thing swipe down and select manage
1:46
and once you see this we're gonna now select the option right here see all
1:51
from last seven days then we're gonna tap on a phone click on the icon of a
1:56
phone and choose open and in here we're gonna tap on a dialer just type in a
2:03
bunch of random numbers it doesn't really matter what you type in from
2:08
there you want to select send a message and in text message field you wanna type
2:13
in a youtube.com like so and you will actually send it now keep in mind the
2:23
SIM card is not in the phone so it's not really sending and this message to
2:29
anyone so from here you're gonna tap on that link it opens up YouTube obviously
2:34
as you probably expect and in here we're gonna click on the icon of the account
2:40
and we're gonna navigate into settings from here I'm gonna choose about and
2:46
then Google privacy policy let's let accept and continue and no thanks and
2:54
then in right at the top the search bar you want to type in how did we set that
3:00
info slash bypass like so if you need a moment to write it down do pause the
3:12
video and in here once the site loads scroll down and you will see settings up
3:21
click on the icon and this will open up the phone's settings and in here once
3:28
you have your settings open we're going to scroll down to accessibility then
3:35
we're gonna select accessibility menu right over here and you want to enable
3:40
it select allow and okay as you can see it adds this little icon right here at
3:46
the bottom okay so now that we have added this we're now gonna back out and
3:52
once again I'm gonna go up to apps and notifications we're gonna select see all
3:58
37 apps you want to tap on three dots and then select show system and once you
4:04
have your show system we're gonna now find the Android a setup we have two of
4:08
them so let's start off with the first one and we're gonna now select for stop
4:14
and okay I'm gonna go back I'm gonna go to the second one it's also for stop so
4:22
the first one we might also need to disable now you're so as you can see I
4:26
selected disable and we can now go back there we go and we're now gonna look for
4:34
Google Play Services so let's scroll down see the F G so somewhere right here
4:46
and then your Google Play Services and I click on it and just as before we're
4:51
gonna select disable disable up and for stop and okay once you have done these
4:56
two things we're now simply gonna back out to the setup there we go and we're
5:08
gonna just jump through the setup right here and you should be by now stuck on this page as you can see right here it will
5:25
show you that it's checking for updates and it's going to fail checking for
5:29
updates because because a Google Play Services are is disabled so the device
5:36
has nothing to really contact about the info of this device so once you see this
5:42
page click on these this little guy icon right here select assistant so show up
5:47
settings right here but not always try that again there we go settings and you
5:52
want to click on that and this will take you to the Google Play Services site or
5:57
page the same one that we selected to disable Play Services as you can see this will probably take us some time I think the faster the
6:26
device is the more annoying this is so I'm gonna try to do it really quickly
6:32
and keep repeating it till the device kind of slows down hopefully once I get
6:40
to the Google Play Services page I will need to select enable which I believe
6:46
will be probably somewhere right here though I'm not entirely sure just yet
6:51
because as you've seen I can't even get it open and do expect the same thing for
6:56
yourself it's just something that we need to kind of keep repeating till it
7:01
actually works there is no right or wrong way as long as you're basically
7:05
pressing this guy here assistant settings and then trying to press on
7:09
enable which I believe might be here or here just depending on which what kind
7:15
of versions will open you want to keep repeating it till you actually manage to
7:19
enable it that's all we need to do so we'll see how many times it takes me
7:29
oh there we go that was actually way simpler now that I get into it so as you
7:36
see enable was right over here once you enable it it won't close off but even if
7:42
you open up the app info as I have right here sometimes it will close if you
7:46
don't press it fast enough or even if you press this sometimes it just won't
7:50
react to it and it will close it anyway so just keep on repeating till you get
7:54
this enabled once you do click on back once and this will take you to Google
8:02
services so right now we're gonna select accept right here and we're gonna
8:08
finish up the setup right now at this point you just want to skip everything
8:12
that you can just because it doesn't really matter what we set up the device
8:17
is still locked so just try to finish it up as quick as you can and once you have
8:26
access to your home screen you want to navigate into settings then scroll all
8:32
the way down to system select advanced reset options erase all data factor
8:41
reset erase all data and then tap on this button again now I won't be going
8:47
through this on the video just because this is just a typical factory reset and
8:53
it resets the device back to its factory settings brings you back to the setup
8:56
screen but the reason you want to do this is like I mentioned device is still
9:01
technically locked it still has the info of the old user but by performing a
9:08
factory reset of the device through settings like I'm showing right now to
9:11
do this this removes the old accounts and every kind of like old user data and
9:17
because of that it just unlocks the device so once the factory reset has
9:21
been completed and you're back in the setup screen you can set up your device
9:26
however you want it will be fully unlocked so you can do the setup just as
9:30
you would normally do it either connecting to Wi-Fi or having the ability
9:33
to skip it it's completely up to you but that being said this is how you bypass
9:38
the Google verification on this device and if you found this very helpful don't
