How to Activate Portable Hotspot on INFINIX Hot 20i

Welcome. And following me is an Infinex HOT20i, and today I'll show you how you can enable and set up your portable hotspot

So to get started, we will want to put on our toggles from the top right side of the screen, like this

And then locate Hotspot toggle. For me, it's right over here. This is the default location of the toggle, so hopefully I can find yours in the same exact place

So from here, first time around, you want to hold this toggle. This will quickly take you to the settings, where you can then select Hotspot settings and have access to the password

Now, you want to go here first time around, just because the phone will create a randomized password by default

And as you can see, this password is absolutely atrocious in case of trying to remember it or type it

So what I recommend doing is removing it and then setting up your own password

Now, it will need to have at least 8 characters in length, and that can be letters or numbers, at which point you can save it by tapping on OK

And then just make sure you tap on the toggle right here, the checkmark, to actually save the changes

Once you have done so, you can quickly toggle it on from here by tapping Personal Hotspot to turn it on

But later on, once you have changed the password and you don't need to actually come back to the settings to turn it on or off, you can do it straight from here by tapping on OK

And then just tapping on the toggle instead. Like this. So when it's green, it's on, and when it's not, obviously, it's off

Now, one more thing to keep in mind is that Hotspot consumes more of your phone's battery

So if you're not using it, I do recommend trying to keep it in mind and remember to turn it off

Otherwise, you will be probably losing a little bit more of your battery life for no reason if you're not using it
