Welcome! In front of me is a Motorola Moto E4 Plus and today I'll show you how to go
0:09
through the setup process of the device. So once you boot up the device for the first time you'll be presented with a welcome screen as you can see right here
0:16
and the first thing you can do is choose your desired language so I'm gonna stick
0:20
with English but you have additional options if you choose to select a
0:24
different language. And from here I can choose to copy data from an old
0:34
device or set it up as new. Now I'm not gonna really go through the process of
0:39
copying it I'm just gonna set it up as new but you can check out other videos
0:42
that go through it. It's a fairly simple process you basically create a copy on
0:49
your old device and then using signing into Google it allows you to basically
0:54
copy the old data to a new device. So next thing you will see is the
1:00
connection. Now you can also skip this process if you wish to not connect to any kind of Wi-Fi or if you don't have any network near you. So you just tap on
1:10
don't use any network for a setup. I'm gonna use one for an example. So once it
1:18
connects it should automatically jump forward and start looking for updates and also allow me to connect to Google account. Let's just accept and continue
1:35
And you can here sign in to your Google if you wish to. If you don't have one but
1:41
you would want to do it you can always create it from here or you can also skip
1:46
it which I'm gonna do just to save on time. And you have a name of your device
1:54
you can also skip this if you don't want to just leave it empty or you can name
1:58
it whatever you want. It doesn't really have any additional functions. Then
2:06
you have option to add your fingerprint. Now if you choose to add your fingerprint you will also have to add additional way of unlocking the device
2:12
so you will have a choice between pin pattern or password. I'm gonna do it as
2:16
an example so let's just add a fingerprint and you'll get this so pin
2:20
or pattern pin password just choose for instance pattern. Draw the pattern
2:27
continue we draw the same pattern once more confirm and then you start scanning
2:32
your finger on the sensor so you just start tapping on it like so
2:38
Or I guess you just okay there we go so and there we go. And you can also add another finger if you wish to do so or
2:55
add the same finger just for a better readability and higher accurate
3:00
accuracy chance. Just tap on get it. Terms of service of Google actually not
3:07
terms of service but some options that can actually enable disable like
3:11
localization Wi-Fi all of these settings can be later on changed in the phone
3:16
itself anyway. And you're basically done so tap on all set. Once more Motorola you
3:25
can sign up I guess to some some of their notifications or something I'm not
3:29
really sure. If you don't select agree you don't need to you can just tap on
3:32
next and now as you can see the setup is complete. So if you found this very
3:37
helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
