Welcome. In front of me is an Alcatel 1B and today I'll show you how you can enable power
0:06
saving mode on this device. So to get started, pull down your notifications by swiping down
0:14
from the top of your screen and then swipe down once again to extend the list of toggles
0:19
Now on one of the one of those tiles you should have a power saving mode but if it's not added
0:25
by default like it looks to be, we will need to select the edit button right over here and
0:29
then find it somewhere in the toggles that we can actually add. So you can see it right here
0:35
battery saver. Once you see it, hold it. This will change the text right here saying
0:39
drag here to remove so we're going to do that and when you drop it and press on the check mark
0:46
come on, there we go, you should be able to see it somewhere here. For me it is right over here
0:52
Now from here all you need to do is just simply tap on it. It'll give you a pop-up
0:56
battery saver is on and that's it. That's how you enable your power saving mode on this device
1:02
Now a couple things to keep in mind. Your brightness will be dropped down, that's one
1:06
thing which you can obviously see but the other one that is probably more important that most devices will do but don't really state that is they turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data
1:18
when the device is in kind of like a sleep mode. So just to kind of show this, this would be
1:24
considered a sleep mode after several minutes of being in this kind of state. At which point
1:30
like I said, it will disconnect from Wi-Fi and mobile data. Now there's two different things
1:34
that might happen. Either the device will reconnect to mobile data and Wi-Fi every so
1:38
often to check if it's missing any kind of notifications or it just might not do that at all
1:44
till you interact with the device like I just did, at which point it will reconnect and then give you
1:49
everything at once. Most devices use the first option so your notifications might be just delayed
1:57
but in certain cases it might be the latter. So if that is a problem for you with the notifications
2:03
delay or just non-delivery, just know that this is usually the power saving mode trying to preserve
2:08
battery. Now anyway, once you're done with the power saving mode and you want to turn it off
2:12
find the toggle once more and simply tap on it again and this will revert all the changes
2:17
Now with that being said, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
