Welcome. In front of me is a Huawei P60 Pro and today I'll show you how you can hard reset this device through settings

So to get started, we're gonna open up settings. From here, we're gonna scroll all the way down to

system and update, then reset. Reset phone. This will bring up a list of

items, data that will be removed. Now the ones that I would consider important and probably you will as well and will be the ones that

are a little bit lower like music, photos, files. Just generally user data that has been put on the device by you

Things like account, app data and installed apps don't really matter because that's all the data that it can

regain after the reset is finished or on any other device. Things that for instance you have downloaded from the browser yourself or maybe some documents were sent to you, those will not be

so easily regained obviously. So if you have any data that you want to back up, do so right now

Now assuming you have already done so or you don't want to, you can press it reset and

this will actually bring up the backup option right here. Though keep in mind that this backup right here is done to the Huawei cloud

So when you create this kind of backup, you will be only able to restore it on another Huawei device

So if for instance you're doing this because you have a new phone that isn't Huawei

this backup will not be recoverable for you. So what you want to do is back it up to for instance something like a computer

Now with that being said, I'm gonna just progress further by selecting reset phone and it's gonna begin

erasing everything and this process only takes about a minute, two minutes or so to finish up
