Welcome! In front of me is a Motorola Moto G52 and today I'll show you how you can enable and
0:08
set up your Do Not Disturb mode. Now to get started you'll want to pull down your notification panel
0:17
and locate the Do Not Disturb mode. For me by default it's right here visible right away so
0:23
from here you can either tap on it to enable it right away or you can hold it like I just did
0:28
and this will take you to the settings. Now in the settings you can customize how it functions
0:32
So number one we have things like people, apps, alarms which basically allows you to define
0:37
each one of these categories what if they can actually bypass the Do Not Disturb mode. So as
0:43
you can see people as an example you can select which kind of groups of people can bypass this
0:48
and that will include calls messages and inside of that you have stared contacts which are favorites
0:54
just contacts so anybody who's on your contact list, anybody which defeats the purpose of this
0:58
mode and then no one. With the last option allow repeated caller so if someone calls you twice in
1:03
a 15 minute period it will completely bypass this. Now going back we have like I mentioned apps so
1:11
you can select what apps will bypass this mode, alarms, other interruptions. Then you can set up a
1:15
schedule just a normal schedule it will turn on and off automatically. Duration this will define
1:23
what happens when you tap on the toggle so you have until you turn it off so that's the default
1:28
one but you can set it up to be a time specific one or it will bring up a window with two option
1:33
every time you tap on it so you could have until turn off or for x amount of hours that you set up
1:39
then. And we have also some notifications so anyway once you went through all the settings
1:46
right here customize them to your liking you don't actually have to come back there ever again
1:50
and whenever you want to use your do not disturb mode simply tap on a toggle like I just did right
1:54
now and there we go it is now enabled you can see this icon right here to signify that it is
2:00
running right now and once you're done with it if you're using it as a manual toggle on and off you
2:06
will need to remember to turn it off by tapping on it once again but if you're using it as a
2:10
schedule you really don't need to do anything you don't even need to turn it on just make sure that
2:15
the schedule itself is toggled on and if you chose the timed one and obviously once the time
2:20
passes it will turn off but you can also turn it off manually before that time ends so anyway
