Welcome and welcome to Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite and today I'll show you how to enable and
0:10
set up the Do Not Disturb mode. So to get started we're going to need to pull down the notification panel where we're going
0:16
to find the toggle for Do Not Disturb mode. So let's just look for it and it looks like it's on the second page
0:23
It's this moon icon and underneath you have DND. And before you tap on it to toggle it on you actually want to hold it and this will take
0:32
us to the settings where we can customize it. So number one we have the regular
0:37
This is basically different modes of it. And then we also at the bottom have schedule
0:43
So if you tap on it you can add a schedule, modify the one that is preloaded in here
0:48
I advise on just adding one. It's going to be better. From here name
0:52
You can keep it as it is, change it to something else. It doesn't really matter
0:58
Days of the week. Again you have a couple options. So you have everyday, weeknights, weekends or weekend as in single one for some reason
1:09
And then you have custom. Now custom gives you the option to choose which day of the week you want
1:14
So select the ones that you want. I'm going to create one that basically works with a single day off during the week
1:24
So let's just select something like without the Wednesday. So Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday as the time that it's going to be working in or days
1:32
of the week that it's going to be working in. And then start because it's going to be work one for instance
1:38
So that's going to be 9 to 5. I think it says 24
1:46
So there we go. 17. And from there simply tap on the checkmark
1:53
And you can see that automatically becomes enabled. And also enable as in right here
2:01
Today is the day that it comes to be off. So it didn't really turn on
2:05
But if it would be during the time that it's supposed to be on it would automatically be
2:10
working and already be enabled. And also if we go back we have the couple modes right here
2:16
So you have the regular all sounds will work normally which defeats really the purpose
2:21
of this. Then we have the silent. Calls and notifications will be silent
2:25
And then DND so the actual do not disturb mode. Silent sound and turn off vibration except for the alarms
2:32
And you can see if you tap on it it will be enabled then
2:36
As in this specific mode you can choose whichever one you want
2:39
And also you have a little bit more customization over this one so you have incoming calls from
2:43
no one. You can choose that to be for instance stared contacts only which is your favorites
2:49
We have also contacts or anyone which again that kind of defeats the purpose of this
2:55
So you can choose whichever one suits you. And then we also have the notifications or notify me about repeated callers
3:02
So if anybody calls you within 15 minutes twice they will actually be able to reach
3:08
you the second time around. So you will basically know that they're trying to reach you
3:12
And this is a good option to have in case of some kind of emergency
3:16
So you won't be completely just left out in a way if something important happened
3:22
And from there you can just leave this mode. And it will be enabling itself automatically as it looks like it actually just did
3:33
So yeah. And also you can simply tap on it to enable it manually
3:39
Now it looks like if you check that on it actually enables it so yeah
3:44
As you can see this is basically the enabling mode. So once you tap on it it becomes enabled and if you want to disable it you just have to
3:52
tap on the toggle once more. And this is just a manual
3:58
Automatically it's going to be also turning on by itself at the given time as a schedule
4:04
And that is how you would set it up and use it. So if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
