Welcome, my name is a Redmi Note 10 Pro and today I will show you how to hard reset the

device through recovery mode. And this process will also remove a screen lock if you have one that you might not know

So I'll quickly lock the device and you can see that I do have a pattern set and I will

progress from here as though I don't know it. So start off by holding the power key and selecting power off

Once the device shuts off you want to hold power key and volume up, both of the keys

at the same time. So let's do that right now. Power and volume up

And there we go, we are now in the recovery mode. Now while I was letting go of the power key, it did accept it as an input so I need to

go back. So using volume keys, I'm going to scroll down and then using power key I'll confirm

the selection and that is where we should be. So as you can see from here we have a couple of options, reboot, wipe data and connect

with Mia system. But we're interested in the middle one so using volume keys let's select that, wipe

data, power key to confirm that and then power key to confirm wipe all data

And again scroll down to confirm and confirm the confirm button. And this will automatically begin removing all the data from the device

Now this step is fairly quick as you've just seen. So once you press on the power key once more to boot back up or boot back to the main menu

right here and then reboot and reboot to system. This will reboot the device and continue the process in the background

Now this means that the device will be in a state of turning on for a little bit longer
