Welcome, I'm Ferdinand Mizey, ZTE Blade V2020 and today I'll show you how to hard reset

the device through recovery mode. Now this process will also remove a screen lock if you have one that you just don't know

Actually I didn't set one up so I'm going to quickly set up a screen lock and show you

how to bypass it. And there we go, there is my screen lock now

So let's lock the device and from here you can see I do have a screen lock so I'm going

to progress from the lock screen as though I don't know my pattern right here

So to get started, hold the power key and select power off

As the device turns off, you want to hold the power key and the volume up

Both of the keys at the same time and when you see the ZTE logo keep holding the keys

Now it looks like we had to let go of just the power

So let's let go of the power key and this takes us to the recovery mode

So as you've seen, all you need to do is power off, hold power key, volume up and when you

see ZTE logo let go of the power but keep holding volume up

And once you are in the recovery mode, as you can see this mode right here, what you will need to do is use volume keys to navigate through this menu and power key will be used

to confirm whatever is selected. And with that in mind, you want to scroll down and select wipe data factory reset and

once selected confirm it with power key and again select factory data reset, confirm that

It will start processing it and then data wipe complete should be the last entry at

the bottom at which point reboot system now will be selected by default

So press power key once more to initiate reboot. Now this will continue the process in the background so it will take the device a little

bit longer to boot back up but once it has, we will then be greeted with the Android setup screen
