Welcome, my name is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T and today I will show you how to hard reset the

device through recovery mode. Now, this process will also remove a screen lock if you have one that you just don't know

As you can see I do have a pattern set and I'll progress from the lock screen as though

I don't know it. So, to get started let's hold the power key and select power off

Once the device turns off you want to hold the power key and the volume up at the same time

So let's do that right now. So, once you see the Redmi logo I'm going to let go of the power key and keep holding

volume down and there we go. So that is how you access the recovery mode

When you see Redmi let go of the power key, keep holding volume up

And from here you want to select wipe data which looks like the touch screen doesn't

work so we need to use volume keys to navigate and then confirm it with power key

So wipe all data with power key and confirm. There we go

As you can see data wipe successful as you should see and you will have the option to

go back to the menu and from here reboot and reboot to system

So basically start pressing power key till the device reboots. Now it is going to be turning off a little bit longer than you probably used to

That is because it's continuing the process in the background but once it's finished it will then be created with the Android setup screen
