In front of me is a one plus 60 McLaren edition and I'll show a couple tweaks and tricks that I can do
0:13
So I should point out that the tweaks and tricks won't be limited to just this model and will also work on the 60
0:23
So if you have a 60 it, for the most part it should be all there but in certain kind of
0:29
cases might have a little bit less options than you see on this particular device
0:34
But no matter. Jumping straight to it, we will start up by something that most certainly is on both
0:39
of the devices, which is the split screen for apps. And there is a couple ways I think to activate it
0:47
which let's see, can I, nope, this way it's not. So let's assume that we have
0:54
can I use YouTube as one? And What else can we use as a second one
1:03
Maybe messages, we'll see. But basically what you will do is once you have an open the app that you want to split screen with
1:13
whichever one you will choose as the first one. Or it will be the one that is on top
1:18
So for me it's going to be YouTube. And you see these three little dots on top. You can tap on it
1:22
And from here you have split screen. And then you get to choose another app to use in split screen
1:30
Yep, messages don't work in split screen, so that's unfortunate but I'm pretty sure that browser should
1:38
So once again we going to try this and split screen and let choose browser As you can see now we have YouTube here and browser here
1:52
You can use both of them and normally, let's say when you're trying to, for instance, listen music on YouTube
1:58
and you switch to a different app, it will pause the music or close it
2:06
Right now you can basically have YouTube open and you can, even make it little smaller maybe nope I think it will close so this is the smallest
2:15
and can have it like so and still have music playing in a background while browsing the
2:22
web or whatever so let's just close that all the way next thing I will show you is the
2:29
there's like the the option to have more more options and not really sure how to name it
2:36
for apps. So to explain it, for instance, you get a message, you don't need to actually go into the
2:43
messages. You can hold it and it will be displayed here as a notification in a way. That message from who
2:49
and part of the message. And it works for the most apps. So you can see. Also, if you have bookmarks
2:57
it will show you bookmarks. You can open a new tab from here. So as you can see now there are two. gallery
3:04
if you have photos it would show you I think albums so a lot of them have
3:10
different options here you can create new contact really quick but also it could show you
3:16
favorite contacts if you have added some and you can just tap on them to quickly call
3:21
so that really handy feature that isn really displayed anywhere but it there Now moving on it would be the double top power button for camera
3:36
I'm not sure if this is enabled by default, but it's a easy way to access camera
3:42
even when your device is locked. So you can see, I tap twice, and it automatically opens the camera
3:48
Now we have a lock screen, and you try to unlock it, you will have to put in the code or fingerprint
3:54
But, yeah. And also, if it doesn't work for you, when you press twice the power button and it doesn't open
4:03
it just basically unlocks the screen and locks it back up, then you can go into settings
4:11
then go into buttons and gestures. And from here you will have this quick turn on camera
4:18
You can see, and you can just flip it on. So it will be off
4:22
and what I meant by before. See, as I try to uncheck it
4:27
it just locks and unlocks the device, or unlocks and lacks it. So you can just flip that on
4:32
and now it will work fine. Now, another thing here would be
4:39
let's see, go back, would be that three-finger screenshot, which I'm pretty sure by default it's off
4:49
And I'm not sure if it's on. Yep, now it's on. But you swipe two fingers down and you take a screenshot
4:56
There's also a way to take it with using the power key and volume down
5:01
But usually when you're, let's say, holding a phone on one hand and using the other one to, like, navigate
5:06
it easier just to swipe your fingers down to take a quick screenshot if you want to capture something and so if it not on it going to be also on gestures buttons and gestures and from here it going to be quick
5:22
gestures and you'll see this three finger screenshot so you can just enable that because it will be
5:29
off and then it will be able to take screenshots like this and
5:38
The last thing that I will show you would be the see the upshuff or well
5:48
let's see it's in settings home screen and you can change icon packs
5:59
there's actually a couple of them that come with the device and I don't know if this device comes with like additional icon packs
6:08
I don't have the normal one to compare it to, but as you can see, I have three different ones that come preloaded
6:14
And when I select them, you can see that it changes them from square to round to the ones that were previously
6:23
And you can also tap on more and you will go into store where you can search for additional icon packs that you would like
6:32
And you will be able to then to change it from here. Okay, so this would summarize it
6:39
And if you found this video helpful You liked any tweaks or tricks that I showed you
