Hi everyone, here we've got Samsung Galaxy A42 and let me show you how to enable Google
0:11
Backup on this device. So first of all let's open the list of apps and find the settings
0:17
Now we have to scroll down and tap on Accounts & Backup and let's tap on the second option
0:21
which is Backup & Restore. As you can see here we've got whole Google Accounts section and the Backup option is
0:27
off so in order to turn it on just tap on it and click on this switcher
0:32
Let's get it back. As you can see Backup is on and under it we've got the Backup Account option so now we can
0:38
freely tap on it in order to add the backup account. Make sure that you're connected for example with a Wi-Fi and from this step we can either
0:46
create a new account if you do not have your own yet or simply type your email or phone
0:51
so let me do this. Ok let's tap on Next
1:01
Here we have to enter the password so let me do this out of the screen
1:07
Ok let's tap on Next. Here we've got some Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy so if you want to read
1:13
it just tap on it and here you've got all the info
1:17
Let's tap on Close and I agree after reading. Here we've got some backup and storage info so let's tap on Accept and now your device
1:27
again is telling you what the backup includes so it will backup apps and apps data, call
1:32
history, contacts, device settings and text messages so if you are ready tap on OK and
1:38
as you can see our newly added Google Account simply appears under the Backup Account so
1:44
it means that from now on all the content will be stored on the Google Drive
1:48
What's more here we've got Automatic Restore option which is now turned on and it means
1:53
that if you will reinstall some apps then all the data and settings will be automatically restored
2:02
So actually that's all. This is how to enable Google Backup in your Samsung Galaxy A42
